Bidding on a 1967 Mercury Cougar, first off- has a fresh 1968 302 motor (roughly 10,000 miles since rebuild) , has a 600 cfm 4 barrel carb with Edelbrock Torker Intake, has been upgraded to electronic ignition and new aftermarket coil, has shorty headers, new starter, drum brakes all around and they work, C4 auto trans, 8" rear,new front pans have been installed and properly installed, has brand new dash pad and aftermarket Tachometer, car is very solid as far as rust goes besides the drivers side lower 1/4 and two small areas on inner fenderwall (you can see areas in the pictures) now interior will need headliner and new carpet, front buckets could use recover, the door panels are very nice and so is the front face dash pad. Car is in black primer as of now, still has door tag on car, was originally a 289 motor car, the front hidden headlights work (just when they close , the drivers side one is a little lazy) the rear sequential turn signal control board needs replacing(they sell new solid state ones at West Coast Cougar for $160) and that will make the turn signals function in the blinking mode that they are known for, overall this car runs good , stops good, and with some body work on drivers side 1/4 and paint job could be a very nice car, frame rails are solid and rest of car is solid, car starts right up too, now the exhaust will have to be redone(loud right now) it only comes off the headers and then exists out the side, no mufflers, A deposit of $500 is due with in 24 hours of auction end, rest paid with in week, buyer takes care of shipping charges, also will entertain outright offers for car On Jul-23-11 at 05:21:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Also trunk lock is missing but you can open trunk with screwdriver, not a big deal to get one either
