The previous owner spent many thousands of dollars and tons of labor hours on the restoration / mild custom build and it shows !! It was allmost completely taken apart and redone !! Most of the rubber weatherstriping was replaced including hood to cowl, hood to grill, windshield seal and door to body seal etc... During the restoration a brand new removable "Best Top" brand soft top was put on the truck including removable doors and half doors. In my opinion this is the best soft top you can get for the Jeep CJ5 as they seal up nicely, fit well and are the highest quality. Careful to not let this 1973 jewel get away ! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking Classic Jeep CJ5. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and is in GREAT shape as your can clearly see in the pictures below. I drove this BEAST for about a week as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove great, TO FUN !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this Beauty for yourself, you won't be disappointed !! THIS IS A QAULITY TRUCK !! It appears to still retain its ORIGINAL - STRONG - Code "A" - 258 CID Inline six cylinder motor. This is a STRONG motor that is running very well indeed and has a two Barrel Weber carb. (with electric choke). Sounds good too with the "stock sounding" exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth three speed transmission with what appears to be the original Dana transfer case both of which are functioning very well. It also has Warn manual locking four wheel drive hubs and Rancho RS 9000 shocks. The Medium Gray cloth interior is BEAUTIFUL with VERY NICE Medium Gray cloth high-back bucket seats up front, VERY NICE matching Medium Gray cloth fold down / removable rear seat, NICE ORIGINAL - UNCUT dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's, seat belts up front and a NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel. This Jeep is nicely equipped including good heater and defroster, shoulder belts up front, Electric windshield wiper's, chrome exterior windshield wiper motor cover, chrome hood hinges, chrome exterior cowl grill, full inside roll bar, Warn manual locking hubs, factory gauge package, factory fold down front windshield, modern halogen headlights, custom transfer case skid plate and working turn signals so that it is legal in all states. This Four Wheel Drive Jeep is a great running and Awesome looking Classic for sure. This 1973 Jeep CJ5 has GOOD looks and GREAT power as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. This Classic Jeep CJ5 is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This Classic CJ is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. This vehicle is in GREAT mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. All of the light lenses are new including new modern halogen headlights, new chrome headlight surrounds and custom rear tailights. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and it is nice. I only saw a little surface rust that you would expect to see from normal dry weather driving. I also included 100 photos below some of which show how nice the undercarriage is. This is a AWESOME 1973 Jeep CJ5 Four Wheel Drive and as you can see in the pictures it is BEAUTIFUL !! The previous owner spent many thousands of dollars and tons of labor hours on the restoration / mild custom build and it shows !! It was allmost completely taken apart and redone !! Most of the rubber weatherstriping was replaced including hood to cowl, hood to grill, windshield seal and door to body seal etc... During the restoration a brand new removable "Best Top" brand soft top was put on the truck including removable doors and half doors. In my opinion this is the best soft top you can get for the Jeep CJ5 as they seal up nicely, fit well and are the highest quality. Careful to not let this 1973 jewel get away ! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking Classic Jeep CJ5. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and is in GREAT shape as your can clearly see in the pictures below. I drove this BEAST for about a week as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove great, TO FUN !! It appears to still retain its ORIGINAL - STRONG - Code "A" - 258 CID Inline six cylinder motor. This is a STRONG motor that is running very well indeed and has a two Barrel Weber carb. (with electric choke). Sounds good too with the "stock sounding" exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth three speed transmission with what appears to be the original Dana transfer case both of which are functioning very well. It also has Warn manual locking four wheel drive hubs and Rancho RS 9000 shocks. The Medium Gray cloth interior is BEAUTIFUL with VERY NICE Medium Gray cloth high-back bucket seats up front, VERY NICE matching Medium Gray cloth fold down / removable rear seat, NICE ORIGINAL - UNCUT dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's, seat belts up front and a NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel. This Jeep is nicely equipped including good heater and defroster, shoulder belts up front, Electric windshield wiper's, chrome exterior windshield wiper motor cover, chrome hood hinges, chrome exterior cowl grill, full inside roll bar, Warn manual locking hubs, factory gauge package, factory fold down front windshield, modern halogen headlights, custom transfer case skid plate and working turn signals so that it is legal in all states. This Four Wheel Drive Jeep is a great running and Awesome looking Classic for sure. This 1973 Jeep CJ5 has GOOD looks and GREAT power as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system.
