For sale is my 1997 TDI Passat Wagon. I bought this from the original owner. The vehicle has been serviced by the same mechanic for the past ten years or more, I still take it to him. I have put maybe 4000 miles on it in the one year I have owned it. The car was garage kept until I bought it. It was religiously serviced and all relevant replacements and dealer recommended services were completed. I do have a folder filled with all service updates, but I do not feel the need to detail them here. Needless to say it has had everything done to it and replaced that a very careful owner would expect. The interior has been well kept and is clean, no smoking and no pet dander. The flaws in it are as follows: Rust starting on both front fenders.Drivers side rear window does not open. Drivers side window needs to be looked at, it opens rough. Power lock on passenger side front door does not extend/cant be pulled (but door unlocks).There are the usual signs of age in the interior, fading, scuffing and the like.The check engine light is on because the EGR valve needs replacing, too expensive to bother with since it does not need that for inspection in WV. This is a great car, rides nice, shifts well, tires have plenty of wear left and the suspension and steering is tight. A blast to drive. Of course it is a 1997 and has 200K plus miles so bear that in mind. I absolutely love the car but need to get rid of one of my three VWs. Happy Biding!!!
