Low mileage INDY 500 PACE CAR. These Pace Cars are referred to as the Popsicle Pace Car due to the wild color scheme. Now that they are 15 years of age, the collectability of this Corvette is going up. This is your chance to get a very rare car (Only 1164 were ever made) and a piece of Indy 500 history. This car runs great and shifts great. There are a few scratches evident on the paint and a few on the decals but overall, this is a fantastic looking car. The interior looks good as well, no rips or tears and it even has the Indy 500 floor mats (no longer in production or available). EXTERIOR:Paint looks good and shiny. Original paint.The car has a few scratches, I will look into some of the scratch repair paints advertised. Some of the decals have a scratch or two. Individual decals car either be replaced or I am told that they can be touched up with paint. I have a brand new set of GM NOS decals that I can sell for what I paid ($1250).Wheels are very good. Tires look to be original Run Flats with about 30% tread left.Drivers side mirror motor is not operational, Passenger side works fine.Convertible Top looks good and functions properly.All lights are operational.INTERIOR:Original stock Yellow interior - Radio, CD player, Yellow seats, etc.Yellow stitching on the steering wheel and shifter boot. (Available only on the Pace Car)Gauges all work.Lights all work.Stock Bose Stereo is excellent!Active Handling System - offered for the first time on the 98 Pace Car.Easy Exit power seats - makes it very easy to get out of the car.Still has the very hard to find Indy 500 Pace Car floor mats!!! (no longer available at the Dealer, out of production)ENGINE & TRANNY:Numbers matching 5.7L LS1 runs very good and strong.Numbers matching Transmission shifts as it should. Smooth and strong.I drove the car about 500 miles, and it runs great, stays cool, and fast.I also have some Indy 500 documentation that will go with the car, Window Sticker, letters, Video Cassette, Owners Manuel, etc. For questions, feel free to call me at 510-585-5874.
