Offered for your consideration one 1958 Jag XK150FHC (Fixed Head Coupe.) XK150 Coupes are very rare and desirable. Throughout the production years of 1957-1961 only 4450 coupes were produced. Unlike the XK150DHC (drop head coupe or convertible,) the XK150 Coupe can be driven in any weather at any time of the year. And by the way, an air conditioning upgrade is easily installed. This car also has the added and rare feature of an automatic transmission, (only 400 automatics were produced.) This option is a advantageous bonus for anyone driving in traffic, or hilly country, or who just doesn’t have the energy or desire to continually stomp the clutch and work the shifter. This particular XK150FHC is also mechanically sound. The automatic transmission was over-hauled in Aug '03. A new original wiring harness has been installed recently. The exhaust system is new and the front end was over-hauled, in Oct '03. The car starts, runs and drives extremely well. As you can see in the pictures the car presents very well. Up close, you will see that the paint is not perfect, especially around the doors because the hinges are worn. In light of this problem, new hinges are included with the sale and once installed, this will clear up any further problems. The interior is also very nice. To be sure, this XK150FHC is not a concours vehicle. It is a well maintained and cared for car. One would be hard pressed to find a better collector car for the money especially given the exorbitant price paid for XK150 dropheads. My intention has always been to restore this car but other restorations have taken my attentions and so I reluctantly off this XK150FHC for sale. Call or email with any further questions.
