Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BELOW BEFORE YOU BID!!!! USED 1999 DAEWOO LANOS SE (AS IS) NO RESERVE BROKEN CLUTCH PRIVATE OWNER - TITLE IN HAND This car has been my daily commuter for the last 3 years, which is when I purchased it from the original owner. Until 7/12/11 I was getting 40 MPG with this car...THEN the clutch went out! The car runs, but will not start due to the clutch being out (it thinks the pedal is not being depressed, so it won't start - manual transmission). I'm not willing to pay the amount of labor it would take me to have it fixed. If you are a mechanic or do-it-yourselfer, this car will be a great gas saver and a good deal. The top end of the engine was rebuilt 3 years ago due to a timing belt break. Since then, I've replaced the following: Water PumpTwo timing belt replacements (preventative)ThermostatShift linkage (see below for a unique quirk)Gas shocks on hatchback (it stays up now!) Here are the features of this car: 40 MPG (no joking)Runs like a top!Barely uses any oilElectric windows (see below)Manual Transmission (5 speed) 4 CylinderFront Wheel DriveHatchback - both gas struts work (they hold up the door)CD player (needs new speakers though)Green colorFunky gray/swirley seatsCustom wheels from Discount Tire Here is everything I know that is wrong with the car: Clutch is outCheck Engine Light is ON - has been for 2 years. Mechanic told me it was the O2 sensor, but it runs great anyway! Replaced shift linkage works, but is rough. It DOES shift into every gear, you just have to get used to its "uniqueness!"Front hood is tight and "pops" when you open it, but no big deal.Driver's side door "pops" the same way at times, but works just fine. Engine cover is gone (but the engine is still there)!Right passenger side window does not roll down (electric motor is out and I propped up the window inside the door)I think it has one strut (right front) that is bad... that tire wears funny.Front tires are bald - back tires are good shape - probably 50% studded snow tires (14 inch) Basic bumps, bruises, dings, scratches for a car that is 12 years old!Passenger side sun-visor is missing.Driver's seat is faded, has a couple of very small holes. SHIPPING / LOCATION / PICKUP The "woo" is currently in Buena Vista, Colorado - but if you pay an extra $50 for gas, I'll dolly it to Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Grand Junction - anywhere within reasonable distance. If you win the bid... let me know what you'd like to do! If you want it shipped someplace else - you'll arrange all of that, pay for it, and work out the details with me after payment for the car. PAYMENT PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN FULL WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION END! PayPal ONLY On Jul-14-11 at 08:23:47 PDT, seller added the following information: ONE MORE ISSUE I FORGOT ABOUT: The filler tube going into the gas tank has a small hole in it someplace which causes a small puddle under the car as you fill up. So, I typically stop before getting it that full. If you forget (which I've done), it stops leaking after driving 5 miles or so... you've used enough gas to keep it from leaking further. On Jul-14-11 at 14:06:44 PDT, seller added the following information: And another... Passenger side seat does not tip forward (steel cable is broken)
