Vehicle Detail
Up for bidding is my 1973 Honda CB 350. 14, 967 miles. Five years ago it ran like a top. The bike is mechanically sound but has been sitting for five years. So, as any fellow mechanic would know, this will need a tune up (and a battery) to get it running. That said, there is no warranty expressed, written or implied. Sold as is. Within the last five years or 71 miles the following has been done: -New front tire - Dunlop Gold Seal F11 -Front fork seals replaced and oil changed (working beautifully) -New Chain (showing signs of rust now) -Fuel tank etched and sealed (the inside of the tank is nicer than the outside) -Complete Carburetor rebuild (right bowl drain plug is missing) I have a small bag of parts for the Carbs and a couple new fuel filters that will be included as well. The following are new or NOS genuine Honda parts installed on the bike. -Clutch cable -Front brake cable -Throttle cable -Handle bar grips (I have a new throttle cable attachment sleeve that sits under grip that is not needed but also included) -Fuel selector valve -Rear fuel tank rubber stabilizer -Gas cap -Air filters -Fuel line with new original style clamps (a few extra clamps included) If memory serves, you would have a hard time finding original new air filters. Some of these items are on ebay frequently. (i.e. gas cap 45.00, fuel selector 50.00 and so on.) As you can see from the photos, this bike has some imperfections. -Front turn signals are a little out of whack and could be replaced but are (were) functional. -The fuel tank has a few good dents and is sun faded. -Original seat is in great shape with one small tear less than 1 inch top right and at bottom right there is a 2 inch tear where fabric folds under. -Missing the left side tank Honda logo (I am including a replacement) and the right airbox cover is missing its "350" emblem. These few missing items are a cheap and easy find at your local cycle salvage. With minimal effort, a like-new clymer service manual included (#M322 250 and 350 cc twins 1964-1974) and a clear title, this reliable classic will be on the road in no time. * Please ask questions prior to bidding. I will respond within 24 hours* A deposit of $100 is due within 24 hours of auction close into my pay pal account. Full payment is to be made within seven days. Buyer is responsible for pick up. If you should choose to utilize a shipping company I will happily communicate with them. Happy Bidding.
