2004 Chrysler Sebring Touring Convertible 143,928 miles. Really hate to do it, but must sell this car to pay taxes. It's been a great car and lots of fun. Description: A clean 2004 Chrysler Sebring Touring Convertible. v6, auto trans, pwr driver seat, pwr windows, pwr top, great mp3/cd stereo, aluminum wheels, cruise, AC. Mechanical: It starts and drives perfectly. The engine compartment is very clean (see photo). The motor sounds nice, no rattles or vibration, and accelerates crisply with no hesitation. Does not use oil and oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. The AC blows good and cold. Good braking, good handling, nothing feels the least bit loose. Mechanical problems: The only problems I am aware of are a transmission fluid leak and hesitation shifting into gear when first started. Occasionally it takes several seconds to shift into gear when car is cold. I'm no transmission specialist but from the research I did on the internet, it appears to be a problem with a solenoid mounted on the transmission. But please don't hold me to that. After shifting into gear in a few seconds, the transmission performs perfectly. Occasionally the oil light will come on when sitting still. Clears up as soon as you take off. It's done this since I bought it and when I've checked the oil level it's always been perfect. After researching on the web, it seems to be a known problem with a sensor. The right blinker stopped working a couple of days ago. Haven't had a chance to investigate but I think it's a bulb out. Exterior: See photos: Left front - I hit a small deer a couple of years ago and it damaged plastic bumper on the front driver's side. To make the car look new, it's very easy to replace this front bumper. I had a minor accident last year - the front passenger side has a dent by the headlight and the clear plastic headlight cover is broken. (again, see photos) The rest of the exterior is in excellent condition. The top is also in good condition - no leaks. Tires: Front are in good shape and rear tires are like new. Interior: The interior is in good condition. The driver's seat has a small cigarette burn and the front seats show some wear. Dash is in excellent condition. One thing; I am a smoker. After thoroughly cleaning the interior and airing it out, there is only a faint odor. There are treatments that completely eliminate it. Apparently, that's what the dealers do, and why they will never mention smoke. I am because I want you to know exactly what you're buying and be very happy that what you get is what was described.
