Let me start by saying that this car has been in my family since it was born. My grandfather bought it new, who then sold it to my father, who then sold it to me. Three owners, all in the same family. The car has certainly served its purpose and been good to us, and i have record of every maintenance that was done to it. I have purchased a new car and now i'm looking to sell this. As the auto report shows, my father was in a minor rear end collision around 2007, and the damage was repaired. So, whats wrong with the car? The paint is fading. This is VERY common for the 1998 Accords. Google 1998 accord paint fading and you'll see. It was a problem with the clear coat. There is a hesitation for first gear to engage sometimes. Best i can describe it is when you come to a stop sign, and dont stop all the way and hit the gas again, it takes a second for it to engage driving again. if you were to come to a full stop and then hit the gas again, it doest do it. I've had mechanics look at this and they've said they cant replicate the problem. This vehicle is being sold AS IS. No returns are available. I have described all problems with the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. Within 48 hours of auction end a $500 deposit is due via PayPal. Remainder to be paid in cash at time of pickup.
