Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is a beautiful Nightmist Blue Metallic 1967 Mustang 2+2 Fastback 'S' code 390 4V V8 car. This was originally a San Jose California built car delivered to Los Angeles and has gone through a total restoration over a two and a half year period. I have personally owned it for six years and am the second owner. This baby is ready for cruisin, car shows, cruise nights or whatever your heart desires. You can't keep'em away at the car shows with this one. The original 390 was long gone when I got it and now has a 375 hp 351 Cleveland with the big bad 4V heads which gives this thing a lot of power and breathing room and raps the rpm's like nothing you have ever seen. 351 Clevelands are almost indestructable. It runs super strong. The compression and cam provide that awesome muscle car lope and sound that we all love. It's topped off with an Edelbrock intake and Holley 750cfm double pump 4 barrel carb. Engine bay was detailed while the engine was out. It is mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission attached to 3:55 gears in the rear end. It has a three core aluminum radiator and never even thinks about getting hot. 3" stainless exhaust is installed from the headers back with an 'H' pipe and Flowmaster mufflers with chrome tips. The paint is Nightmist Blue Metallic base/clear coat and looks awesome and is about 2 and a half years old. Weather stripping was replaced. All glass is good . New drivers mirror, door handles, locks, bumpers, pretty much all chrome on the car is new. Hood mounted turn signals work. Interior is all new. Dashpad, instrument bezel, door panels, armrests, carpet, seats, etc. Original wood grain GT steering wheel. Console is restored and original to the car. Front suspension was replaced with upper/lower control arms, bushings, ball joints, shocks and tie-rod ends. Rear leaf springs and shocks were replaced as well. Brakes are 4 wheel drum and work great Only rust found and fixed on the car was both front floors were replaced, likely caused by the notorious Mustang windshield leaks. Probably didn't need to be replaced but I like to do things right and not halfway. Right Rear quarter had some lip rust around the wheel well so welded in a patch there. Other than that car is really solid. You can see the floors and framerails in the pics as they look outstanding. Wheels are 17" Torq Thrust II's with BF Goodrich G-Force tires, 225/45/ZR 17 on the front and 245/40/ZR 17 on the rear. Gives it a great stance and look. You can see by my feedback I'm a straight shooter and hide nothing. Call Steve anytime to discuss the car as I love talking Mustangs or any car for that matter 816-804-6987.
