Vehicle Detail
Yes, Those are original miles - and you can tell!! Gets 35+ miles per gallon. This is a strong running car, engine sounds good, no knocking, squeaking, etc. I bought the car 1.5 years ago because I couldn't pass up the condition or mileage for an economy car, and I am a Justy guy. I have owned 3 before. The only reason I am selling is I have found the car I have been looking for. I don't want to sell this car, but I don't just want to let it rot either, and I have no room. 3 cylinder engine, heh, don't let that fool you, it is a fast little bugger. I am very meticulous with my vehicles, and adament with maintenance so I made sure things are taken care of for its new owner. The exhaust system was upgraded by a custom shop. It will easily last another 200,000 miles - no cheap stuff, this is a custom shop that does premium jobs. Some Pipe was reused because it was stainless steel and in good structural shape. I went through all the brakes personally and rebuilt the calipers on the two front brakes as well as new pads, pins, and rubber booties - they are 100%. The rear brakes are ready to go too, cleaned out, new pads, everything working optimally. I put on new tires last November, they don't sell the original size tires for a Justy anymore so they are bigger - that means on a larger than normal bump the tires will rub a bit. On my normal daily driving they don't rub at all. New fuel filter, air filter, wiper blades, headlight bulbs, and some other miscellaneous items. Also just replaced the clutch cable and took the liberty of lubricating the inside of the lining so there isnt so much resistance - it comes from the factory dryer than a popcorn fart - no wonder the cables like to break! The exterior shows some minor rust on the lower side panels of the car, but that is it. What is shown is where it all is. The undercarriage is still coated and in immaculate shape for the year, there is very little surface (only) rust here and there - it still has that overcoat that protects it very well. You don't have to worry about the wheel wells either - they are free of rust as you can see from the four pictures that show where the struts anchor. This would be the place you would have to worry about if there was rust for these older Suby"s. There is only one rust hole in the drivers side wheel well on the bottom where it doesnt affect the structural integirty of the suspension. The interior is in great shape minus the seats. They aren't torn, the seams are becoming undone. I was going to get them restiched, but I ran out of time. Ac was just recharged and works great! Thank God, It has been a life saver! One bad thing about the car is the oil leak. It isn't bad, but it does leak a bit of oil so I keep a quart with me in the car. Another thing is I believe eventually the ball joints need to be replaced in the front because you will feel a little wiggle sometimes when you are slowing down coming off the highway. Again I would have done this myself, but I am out of time. Other than that the car is 100% ready to go and needs nothing, everything works fine, take it right to 300,000 miles. If you can get that little bit of rust taken care of this car would be perfect!! I believe I have represented everything about this car as best as I can. I encourage you to come see the car. Please ask me questions. Thank youOn Jul-11-11 at 18:10:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to add that this car is my daily driver and it doesnt just sit in the driveway. The exhaust was completed in January 2011 The clutch cable was replaced 3 weeks ago Brakes were completed 2 weeks ago. Alternator belt replaced 2 weeks ago I only use Mobil 1 in my vehicles Fun fact - I have got this car up to 95mph, and no not downhill either. Hey, I was curious. On Jul-12-11 at 18:45:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Question: Car looks good just wondering if there is any problem getting inspection and emissions stickers.???? Response: Inspection is good until November. It passed emissions with flying colors. It needed a couple items to pass regular inpection. They were: needed new windshiled wipers new tires turn signal was broken 2 broken wheel studs New directional and headlamp bulbs All the above was repaired as specified. I also had an alignment done as i do find it necessary to do for a vehicle at least once a year. Nothing major On Jul-13-11 at 07:19:48 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: Passed emissions and inspection till July 2012 YES, PA emissions and inspection is good now for a whole year (just took it this morning). It passed with flying colors. It wasn't due until November 2011, but I figured I would get it inspected for its new owner - cause I'm a nice guy like that! SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!
