Vehicle Detail
I am listing this 2000 Pontiac Sunfire for my daughter. She has owned the car for over 8 years and like the previous owner(s), she has driven it about 10,000 miles per year. She is selling this car because she was given a Monte Carlo Z34 that was a "mechanic special". I fixed that car up for her, then fixed this one up a little to sell. She kept seat covers on it, so the interior cleaned up real nice, it even has factory or custom fit floor mats. The trunk has some stains in it because she kept her car maintenance stuff back there, mostly cleaning type stuff. The Radio w/cd player is factory & works fine. The A/C blows cold (something the Monte doesn't do yet). It has roll up windows and I think that is a good thing. If you have power windows - sooner or later you have to fix them. The 2.2 liter engine runs good and the transmission has never had any issues. The car was involved in an accident while she had it. I didn't like the repairs the first shop did and my insurance allowed me to take the car to Tallmadge Collision where they fixed it well. There have been no issues in years of driving since then. I repaired a little rust around the gas door and the driver side rear wheelwell. I've never been too good at blending touch up paint so you can see my work when you get within a few feet. All in all it will make a good transportation car for someone. Please feel free to contact me to come and see the car. This is an 11 year old used car and of course it has wear. My opinion as the seller may be much more positive than someone paying out hard earned money for a car. If you are the successfull bidder or choose to "buy it now", you have agreed to purchase the car at that price. That is not a starting point to haggle from when you come to pick up the car. The car will be for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if it has not met reserve. If the auction meets reserve, high bid gets it. If your feedback score is less than 10, please e mail me before bidding. I know everybody has to start sometime, but those bidders with "0" feedback have nothing to lose by fooling around and it is not fair to someone who really wants to buy the car. Thanks for looking & good luck bidding! On Jul-13-11 at 14:06:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I should also mention - the brakes work fine and stop smooth, but the ABS light is on. My scanner doesn't go this new. Also the sunroof does not open completely. It pops up and slides back 3 or 4 inches. At least it doesn't leak. I had included a picture of it, but for some reason it wouldn't upload.
