You are bidding on a 1966 Jaguar XKE Roadster, one of the hallmark cars in auto history. The vehicle was purchased in December of 1965 by a Dr. Clark Leavitt from a dealer named Old Town Dodge in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Leavitt sold it to my uncle, Robert H. Brandow, on April 17, 1972. I bought the car from my uncle in 1981 ahd have owned it since. The car has been babied, garaged all of its life, probably only feeling rain a few times. In aticipation of selling the car I've had the paint stripped and repainted and the interior redone, retaining the original color for both. The engine could be repained or chromed but other than that the car is in very good condition. I have service records going back to 1966 , have manuals, and some of the original tools. The odometer currently read 19.361 (i may drive it once or twice in the next few days so the actual number may display twenty or thirty miles more) bit it is the second odometer in the car. The original was removed with 14,482. I do still have the original. I intended to attach fiftty some photos but e Bay limited me to twenty-four. I have dozens more. .
