Vehicle Detail

Selling my personal 70 fastback mustang. I traded for the car in December of 09 and have been working on it since. The car used to be a race car with a full 6 point cage, which I've cut down to a 4 point. Extremely solid car, with little repair and only very minor rust in the front drivers floor pan and the battery box (per usual vintage mustang). It is painted orange correctly in and out of the jams, with good weather stripping everywhere. The paint job is in fairly good shape for its age, as it's 10 years old. Minor bubbling and chips. The apron and front spoiler are new, as I put those on recently. I do have a can of matching paint to go with the car to the buyer. It was at some point a 302 c4 car which was changed to a 351c and C6 with a 9" out of a mach 1. I bought the car as a roller with the 9" and no motor or transmission. I've converted the car over to clutch cable and manual pedal, with a roller bearing pedal kit and all the necessary parts from modern driveline. The rearends rebuilt, with 3.50 t-lok 31 spline and US alloy 31 splined hardened axles. New brakes front to rear from the MC to the calipers, pads, hoses, rotors on the front, to the cylinders and shoes on the back. It has a new 22 gallon tank in it, a small electric fuel pump (quiet) for a carb'd application, and newer 3/8" steel line run to the front that run into a holley blue FPR. The front upper control arms have been replaced, as well as the spring perches. The perches are Energy suspension pieces. The front spindles are granada. It is manual steering, factory manual gear box. It has competition engineering rear shocks on it, and doeschtech front adjustable shocks. The interior of the car has a factory 70 mach 1 clock cluster, nice rear seat delete, CD player, 70 grande factory AC harness in the dash, standard door panels in great shape, new carpet, new door sills etc. The headliners original but with little to no rips in it. The package tray has two 6x9 speakers wired to a pioneer deck in the factory location and works great. I'm including the factory seats as well, but they need to be redone. The radiator and electric fan come with the car. It has no ignition setup on it (msd box etc) as I've taken that off. The battery is located in the trunk with a keyed cut off switch, making it a decent way to avoid having the car stolen wherever it's parked. As you can see I've put alot of work into the car. A simple T5 and 302 sitting in the car would make it a great driver car, and if I had the money I would. I'm selling the car in order to go to a four year university in the fall, so funds are limited and I won't have the time to mess with it. Email or message me and i'll be happy to give you my number to speak to me about the car. I prefer the car to be picked up in person so that you can actually see and speak to me about it. I'll consider shipping on a case by case basis. As I said, it's preferred that you pick it up. As always there are things i'm forgetting about the car, but I will gladly talk to anyone and try to lay out everything I've done to it on the phone. There are more pictures upon request. The frame rails, firewall, torque boxes, everything are extremely solid and well preserved. Also I have the tremec tko 500, Dougs ceramic coated midlengths, and other misc parts out of the car that I will entertain a package deal. However they DO NOT come with the car. "We have had it for 1 1/2 to 2 years. Previous owner had it for over 10. The car has been garaged every night for over 12 years. Don,t know before then. Latest photos of outside car on photobucket were taken last week. We just added them last night. The condition is as good or better than most of the photos. Yes we have a clesr Sc title in our name. Car was registered with tag and insurance until 2 weeks ago."
