Vehicle Detail

I purchased this hearse almost a year ago to today's date from a guy in southern Illinois who had it listed on eBay. Below is the description from when I purchased it : You are bidding on a 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse. The hearse has a 368 Cadillac motor which is a 6.0 liter. It has(had) 84753original miles. Black exterior and burgundy interior. it has a new A/C compressor but the ac needs charged up. It also has a new battery and two new front tires. The hearse runs and drives great. The vinyl top has no rips or tares. It has a skull gear shifter as seen in the pictures. All windows in the back had silver curtains with skeletons hanging in them. The tires have skull valve stem caps. There is a white "blood" splattered rose in the back window. The skeletons, skulls, and rose can be removed if you prefer. There are compartments on both sides of the vehicle to store things under casket deck. The interior roof is in great shape. any imperfections will be noted in the pictures. There are plastic fender panels which are missing from both sides of the vehicle(these can be purchased on eBay). Please see pictures for missing panels. The vehicle is in overall great shape for being 26 years old. This hearse is officially antique! Great to cruise around in on the weekends and even better to take to car shows. Please note this vehicle is listed locally so if I sell it locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early. NOW, to clarify some things in their description.. The hearse now has 86345 actual miles on it. They said it has a new A/C compressor in it... I doubt it, it doesn't look new and I was never able to get it to recharge(nor did I try to terribly hard) but I'm not going to call it a lie as I do not know. It ACTUALLY has a new battery in it now(about a month old). I had the other two tires replaced in the last year. It never did have the skull valve stem caps(sorry.. if that was your selling point, I can probably get some LOL). I've had all of the belts replaced since I bought it(no need to spray belt lube on it like the guy told me too when I picked it up). I replaced the passenger window motor(which they didn't bother to mention needed to be done in their description). The passenger side visor is off as it doesn't stay up properly and bothered me. The passenger side power button did parish in the venture so you will need to pick up one of those on eBay as well. There was also some radiator issues when I bought it but they have also been taken care of.. The check engine light comes on when driving and then the engine temp light comes on after shutting off.. I've been told its either a sensor or the thermostat(or both) but neither of which needed to be taken care of with any quickness because it isn't actually overheating. The original GM scissor jack is also still in the car in the box! I also have included a full size spare tire that stores under the casket deck. I beleive the tire has a plug in it but it is a spare. As an after thought. I figured I would throw in that I replaced the alternator when I first got it. I also believe that sometime in the last 26 years it may have been repainted.. but then again that might have been a sloppy paint job when they actually built the hearse. The hearse buffs out there will probably be able to clarify that. In all reality this IS a great car! I bought it to use as a promotional vehicle for a haunted house. It worked GREAT! It really does turn heads. If that's what you're looking to do then this car is for you! We drove it lightly in the month before we opened and on the weekends during October last year. I honestly think this is the best running/driving vehicle I own and I hate to sell it. REALLY! Who doesn't want a hearse!? However, I do need to sell it to move on to bigger and better things. Any questions feel free to email me at rxsdcbob@aol.com or give me a call or text at (309)631-0558. Don't be surprised if you get sent to voicemail if I'm at work. Texting or emailing me will get the fastest response. I ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY AS THIS CAR IS LISTED LOCALLY!!! Also, the last time this gem was on eBay, the auction got over $6000!!! ACT NOW!!!! Good Luck!!!
