Hello everyone. I have decided to sell the GSX and move on to one new family vehicle. There is 107,000 miles on it. The motor was recently refreshed in 2006 as a winter project with 98,000 miles on it. I challenge ANYONE to find a cleaner 2g. I GUARANTEE there is nothing you need to do to this car. Car got just over 26mpg on a trip to Milwaukee last fall. edit 7/9/11: I had a question from a respectable ebay user that I thought I'd elaborate and share to all in regards to the condition of the car. I bought the car from the original owner in 2005. I went all the way from WI to far eastern Indiana to find such a clean GSX that wasn't beat. I am a picky and meticulous person like many other people. In the winter of 2005, I began getting all the bolt on performance modifications that are shown in the ebay ad. The car was never built to be a race car but more for bragging rights. However, In the fall of 2006, I just wanted to see what it would do at the track. I raced it on two separate occasions. The first time a 12.20 and the second time a 11.97. I can give a copy to the successful winner as I would like to keep the originals as a souvenir. It has not been raced whatsoever since October of 2006. I freshened up the motor in the winter of 2006 as a winter project. It did not need rebuilding but I wanted a spotless engine bay so in pulling the motor, it just made sense to freshen up the motor. I can assure anyone interested in buying my Eclipse, that you are in no way buying a lemon. If you are looking for a beat up race car that's on jack stands every other weekend and leaks oil from front to back, please look elsewhere on ebay. I consider my car to be show car quality. This is why I created the videos in the photobucket link. To give you a better idea of what you are buying and not just some still photos. I'm 41 years old now. I work in the IT department at a bank here in town. I consider myself to be an honest person. The car was never driven as a daily driver. I also drive a Pontiac G6. Resale on used cars is high right now. My plans are to sell the Eclipse and trade the G6 in for a 2012 Chevy Cruze and consolidate just down to one vehicle. edit 7/10/11: A ebay user said they couldn't find the link to the videos. It's right below this. It's in purple containing the word photobucket. In the link, the videos are items 4, 5 & 6. They have a little arrow on them noting that they are a video. You will probably need to play them on an actual computer. They don't appear on my smart phone nor my tablet. edit 7/12/11: I've had numerous questions on what my reserve price is. There is NO reserve. Rather than playing around with annoying reserves, i just put the minimum price I would accept for the car. Also getting requests to end the auction early for a specific price. In all fairness to all potential bidders at the last minute, I would like to ride the auction out till Friday morning. edit 7/13/11: Had a couple questions in regards to fly in/drive home. As I do realize that WI may not be close for some of you bidders. If you flew into CWA (Central Wisconsin Airport), I would pick you up free of charge since this airport is relatively close to me. Only drawback to this is, the (4) original 17" GSX wheels w/ brand new tires on them would not fit in the car. Unless maybe you left the speaker & amp behind and have them shipped to you. You are welcome to fly in, truck & trailer it or have someone pick it up. We can work this out after the auction. Not sure who the winning bidder will be but if you don't have any experience with dsmlink, I'd like to spent a moment with you on this as I feel it is very important.
