This is a 1996 Kia Sportage with, four wheel drive, automatic transmission, power steering, power windows and power door locks. It has had the windows tinted. The engine, transmission and transfer case are out of the car. The engine needs a rebuild. It had a blown head gasket caused by a leaking freeze plug. The cylinder head has been rebuilt and the block cleaned, checked and the cylinders honed. The engine still needs rebuild parts and side motor mounts. The cylinders will not need oversize pistons and the crank does not need grinding. The body has a few dings but is in decent shape. The interior is solid but soiled in places. Front tires are decent but the back tires are weathercracked. It might be easier to replace the engine with a good used one or the car can be used for parts. The car is sold as is and must be picked up. Bring some boxes. I bought the car from a local wrecker service. The car had been abandoned in the middle of an intersection. The previous owner could not afford to pick it up. The owner said they knew it had a water leak but adding water each day kept it going until the leak got ahead of them. I started to repair the engine but bought a RAV4 with 4WD that only needed a timing belt. I need get rid of a few projects. The Kia is located in Dickinson, TX. Local pickup only. No shipping.
