1984 MERCEDES BENZ 300d TURBO DIESEL WELL KEPT CAR...90.000 MILES RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT..... Hello and thanks for looking.. Up for sale is a nice older Mercedes Benz.. the famous 300d .. turbo diesel.. This has been well kept and not abused like most... Good driver and great candidate for bio diesel conversion.. I am the second owner..the odometer in 2002 was listed at 70,000 miles...than the car went into a family trust..and was not used until I purchased it in 09.I had to replace tires, belts, filters, glowplugs,and all major fluids. I put about 20,000 miles on it .Thus the milage is about 90,000. The speedometer works fine but the odometer does not work. The exterior shines nicely , the body is straight and solid, the paint shows wear but still looks good, does have very minor parking dings, and nicks.. It was repainted at some time in the past...There are several rust spots...one at driverside rear wheelwell..one spot under each end of front bumper .... overall very nice looking ... all glasses in good shape, all lights are in good shape and work, bumpers, trims and moldings are intact and nice, chrome is very nice, underbelly is good and does not have any damages or rust,, tires are at 80%...very nice alloy wheels.. The trunk is clean, and has the spare tire, jack and tools.. The interior is nice , seats are good, carpets are clean, dash has several cracks, all gauges work fine ,the climate controls work well, aftermarket stereo , ... ac will need to be serviced, all power windows work, sunroof opens and closes fine, nice original interior thats intact and shows minor wear... wood trims are fine with minor cracks.. comes with owners manual , books and some records.. Mechanically this car is very nice... The engine starts right up and runs great. It starts right up in the winter without the use of a heater... the engine does not shake or make any extra noises, does not smoke, very healthy engine that should last for a long time, the Transmission shifts fine through all gears and does not slip, The turbo kicks in and purrs... this car drives very nice... it is not sluggish... brakes are good, well maintained car ...
