Clean well maintained 1971 VW Bus Baby Blue/White with Grey interior. The Bus is garage stored and is only driven on sunny days locally. Engine and Transmission: The Motor and transmission were rebuilt by a local VW expert in town and only have 10,400 miles. The bus runs straight and there are no issues with leaks or noise. I would be willing to drive the Bus across country without worry. Exterior: Body is straight and the paint is in great shape, there are a few areas of slight surface rust (minor) along the bottom edge of the sides, but could easily be taken care of with steel wool and paint. No holes or immediate need to repair. The Tin top is in great shape (There are No major rust issues) metal is solid. Bumpers are painted white and have a few scratches in the paint but no rust. Interior: The floors are solid with a rubber mats in the front and the rest is carpeted. Seats are in excellent condition and the interior is in good condition, There is some yelling due to age but this is not uncommon for a 40 year old Bus. The headliner is in place and is in good condition, it does have 2 small tears that have been stitched up and hold very well. Though not needed a replacement headliner can be purchased at www.busdepot.com for $197.00. The plastic handle for the window crank on the drivers side is cracked but can be replaced for about $1.99 via the bus depot. The AC works and there is an aftermarket CD player with detachable face included.
