I am selling my 1983 Volkswagen Quantum Limited Edition Deluxe! It has the Turbo Diesel 1.6L that gets 52 miles per gallon. It has 133,221 original miles on the odometer. Original owners manual in glove box. It has power windows, power door locks, power steering, power brakes! Air conditioning, Kenwood CD with new speakers! It has been reconditioned with a new paint job (stock with all safety stickers) new brakes, new tires, new shocks, new ignition and new injection pump. Also New timing belt. Glow plugs. Interior is in great condition with no rips in the seats! It is slightly faded from the original coffee color.Dash has a couple minor cracks in it (has a cloth dash cover currently) Trunk is excellent carpet is perfect has the original spare and jack! This is the cleanest Quantum I have ever seen! It runs and drives excellent; the engine purrs and the transmission shifts smoothly, clutch and brakes are excellent. It is the 5 speed manual transmission, the Turbo Diesel! This combo makes a 52 mpg car that will run forever! Engine is super solid and never leaks any fluids! Just registered in CA with new tags for one year! We have owned the car for three years! The reason for selling is we bought an automatic to make it easier with all the steep hills in the Bay Area!
