2003 Mini S with 66232 miles. I have owned this Dark Silver Metallic MINI Cooper S for five years and I am the second owner. I purchased the Mini for my wife when it had approximately 23,000 Miles. The engine has been serviced every 3000 miles. The body is in good condition with no dents and I just repainted the hood because of some large stone chips on the front edge. The balance of the Mini has the usual minor stone chips for a 2003. The interior is in very good condition except for an area on the driver’s side of the seat back, the leather is OK but there is some color warn off. The spot is about the size of a ladies hand. Minis with the retractable sun roof have problems with the drain tube leaking. (Tube comes off the connection allowing the water to flow down the A-pillar into the inside of the car) This drainage problem causes electrical corrosion in the wire harness. I have had this problem corrected by a BMW dealer in Buffalo NY. ($700.00) If you are looking to purchase a MINI with a sun roof, check to insure the tubes are attached and that the MINI does not have electrical corrosion.
