If your looking for a nastolgic gasser this is it.I bought this car almost two years ago in complete stock condition and it had been sitting in a back yard since 1988. Since then this is what has been done to it. Body: very little rust overall, the entire car was stripped to bear metal so there is zero bondo. then was sprayed with du pont metal etch and du pont sealing primer and cleared. the floor boards and truck have been coated in hurculiner. Chassis: a custom frame was built to the exsisting uni body to add strength and rigidity like a thundebolt. the front end has a custom built straight axle set up with disk brakes. the rear set up is rebuilt leaf springs with air shocks and ladder bars on a currie 9" inch with 31 spline currie axles and a detroit gear drive locker diff and richmond 5.68 gears and wilwood 4 piston disk brakes. i also have a set of 4.11 gears i run on the street that would come with the car. 8 point roll cage and 4 point simpson harness. Drivetrain: 1968 ford fe 390 webed truck block. bored .030 over balenced and has all oil enhancements done to block. melling hvlp oil pump, canton windage tray and 10 qt oil pan. it has a rare set of port and polished coae hipo 58cc heads running good compression. comp cam hydrolic flat tappit cam with .588 lift comp lifters, valve springs, timing chain, and chromoly push rods and adj valve train. edelbrock rpm manifold, and currently has a holly 750cfm i run on the street. but i have a 900cfm built dubble pumper i run on the track.fender well headers. dual filter set up with oil cooler. aluminum 4 core radiator. it has a 192 degree thermostat in it now. but i run a 180 degree on the street. top loader 4 speed with ansen blowproof bell housing and ceramic clutch. hyd slave set up. with a custom built and balenced driveshaft from texas speed works. 16 gal fuel cell. dual battery set up in truck with disconnects. Interior: Fully upholstered seats and door panles, toggle switch set up and all auto meter liquid filled gauges. Dmv and title: i have registration in my name and all the papper work and new plates on it but when registration was up on it i did not recive notice. when i went in to get registration the dmv had lost all the paper work on the car because i had it all done a my local AAA and it was "miss placed" somewhere in between. so it has to go back in to have the vin verifyed agion.
