I bought this Jeep in 2008 from a second owner - at the time it had 47k miles. I now have a 90 mile round trip commute to work and sadly no time to enjoy this truck, it is a blast to drive and an eye catcher on the street. I have tried to be as thorough as possible with the details (particularly what is not in great condition) as I know it is difficult to judge a vehicle online. The Jeep spent most of its life in Arizona and is in very good shape in terms of rust and oxidation (see pics). The vehicle runs great, it has no known mechanical issues. I had a mechanic look at it about 3 months ago when I changed the battery and he remarked that mechanically I had a "brand new car". It does have some cosmetic wear which is attributable to age (see pics). This CJ does not come with a back seat or the original top (I do have a black aftermarket top but i am missing one of the metal bars necesary to mount it - the body of the Jeep has not been drilled or altered for this replacement top, it is simply a skin replacement) To summarize: 1986 CJ7 Renegade original silver paint and decals Garnet color interior - Original seats and dash pad (no rear seat / small tear on driver side seat (see pics)) New Tires and shocks with less than 200 miles:BF Goodrich All Terrain 30 x 10.5 R15 Kenwood radio with CD player / marine speakers 50,650 original miles Replacement black top skin - incomplete mounting hardware (missing driver side vertical bar which can be recreated for about $35) Garnet bikini top Mechanically sound 4.2L inline 6 engine 5 speed manual transmission 4x4 in working order Hitch for towing boat etc Garage cover included Gauges work with exception being the oil pressure gage Whiper motor working - replacement whipers needed Horn works Front winshield has minor pebble marks - might need replacement in the future but is fine right now.
