For sale is a 1939 Dodge Sedan. As far as I know it is 100% original and is all there. I bought the car in 05 basically as is now. It has a flathead six cylinder motor. I cleaned the plugs and put in new points and the car ran like a top. I had an issue with the brakes and parked it in 06. It has been stored in good dry storage since I bought it. The battery is dead but with a new battery it will turn over with ease and run fine. I also have a lot of original paper work from 1939 that the owner got from the dealership. I also have the original owners manual. When I bought the vehicle the owner gave me three boxes of parts for this that will now go with it. This vehicle needs to be restored but is all there. The car is being sold as is. There is no warranty stated, written, or implied. This is a 72 year old vehicle. It is a very nice car, but as any car of this vintage it needs many things done. DO NOT BID if you feel you are not comfortable purchasing the car as it is. I have given any info as to the needs of the car, as I know them, in the most honest manner. I have owned the car for 5+ years and so may have overlooked some of its issues. I am only selling it so I can start a bike project. Again, there is no warranty, implied or otherwise, on the automobile. I recommend you inspect the car before bidding. As per my previous statement, If you are uncomfortable buying the car as is, PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT. It may be made by paypal or Postal Money Order (any other type of funds will be considered nonpayment). BALANCE is due within 7 days of the end of the auction or (which ever occurs first) prior to picking the car up, shipping the car. BALANCE must be cash or other funds that are verifiable and guaranteed at the time of exchange not paypal unless you want to pay the fees. I will work the details out with the purchaser. THE CAR WILL NOT BE GIVEN OUT UNTIL THE FUNDS ARE FULLY EXCHANGED, VERIFIED, AND USABLE IN MY ACCOUNT. The car is sold as is, where is, however, I will work with you and/or your shipper on being available. Buyer pays all shipping and insurance costs. The winning bidder is responsible for any and all title, plates, taxes, transfers, inspections, insurance, and any other charges related to the sale/purchase of the car. As always, I retain the right to end the auction for any reason, including if sold through another venue.
