A two liter version of the Michelotti-designed two-door 1600 Powered by BMW's celebrated four-cylinder M10 engine, the New Class models featured a fully independent suspension, MacPherson struts in front, and front disc brakes. The sporty siblings caught auto enthusiasts' attention and established BMW as an international brand and cemented the firm's future as an upper tier performance car maker. (copy supplied by wikipedia) “NOW” Start with a 2002 Roundie, take a 87 320I engine and bore it out and stroke it a bit & drop it in, add twin Weber DCOE 40 Sidedraft Carbs. and mount them on a Korman Intake Manifold, then mate it up to a 5 speed 320 transmission, and what do you have?... “A great little sport racer”! It’s time to go to work on the body, both “IN and OUT”. “IN” First we start with the interior. New Carpet throughout, New Headliner made of leather, put the suede side out. Recaro the seats, not just the front but the backs as well with 6 series . Cover them all with new black leather and mark them with the “M”, now custom fit a full console from front to rear, and what do you have?... “A great little sport racer that’s comfortable to drive and will keep you in place when you do”! “OUT” Now we finish the car and not just the part you see. We custom fit the trunk to match the interior. We finish the bottom of the car to the same standards as we did the top. We add a full ANSA performance exhaust system and headers. We custom make side ground effects. We custom fit a new front air dam. We custom fit a lite weight rear bumper. Then we graft front and rear E30 M3 flared fenders, and what do you have?... “A great little sport racer with style and driveability”! Alpina Badges have been added to the front and rear. I have posted 100 photos so please be patient while they load. If you cannot see all of the photos, try using the second side bar to the right. I have tried to photograph every item on the car, all of the gaps, body fit & finish, the engine, trunk and bottom, if I have missed something that you would like to see please give me a call and I will do my best to get the photos to you. Start with a 2002 Roundie, take a 87 320I engine and bore it out and stroke it a bit & drop it in, add twin Weber DCOE 40 Sidedraft Carbs. and mount them on a Korman Intake Manifold, then mate it up to a 5 speed 320 transmission, and what do you have?... “A great little sport racer”!

It’s time to go to work on the body, both “IN and OUT”.

“IN”
First we start with the interior.
New Carpet throughout, New Headliner made of leather, put the suede side out. Recaro the seats, not just the front but the backs as well with 6 series . Cover them all with new black leather and mark them with the “M”, now custom fit a full console from front to rear, and what do you have?... “A great little sport racer that’s comfortable to drive and will keep you in place when you do”!

“OUT”
Now we finish the car and not just the part you see.
We custom fit the trunk to match the interior. We finish the bottom of the car to the same standards as we did the top. We add a full ANSA performance exhaust system and headers. We custom make side ground effects. We custom fit a new front air dam. We custom fit a lite weight rear bumper. Then we graft front and rear E30 M3 flared fenders, and what do you have?... “A great little sport racer with style and driveability”!

Alpina Badges have been added to the front and rear.
