This truck was purchased from a daughter whose father intended to do a full restoration but passed away before he was able. It has sat for a while but would run with some minor work. For its age this steel body is in great condition, having very little rust, mostly surface with very little rusted thru and no bondo. Original color was turquoise blue and has only been painted once in the flat red shown. The engine is not original, it has a 1976 400 small block and NOS w/fogger plate designed to kick in at full throttle. The rarity is the factory column shift automatic transmission as most came with 3 on the tree manuals. The stainless emblems are in super condition as are the window cranks and door handles,etc. Windshield and backglass are in great shape, only the passenger side window has a corner fracture, but the drivers side is good as are both wing windows. It has new headlight lenses from the Dennis Carpenter parts catalog which is included. The dash hardware is complete and in good condition, including the hard to find radio dial shown. The entire body is near dent free except the left front fender, tailgate and drivers running board. The bumpers show thier age but are solid with the front having welded on push bars and a search light, and the back a tongue plate and ballhitch. The running boards have a not so pretty "FORD" lettered welded steel plate on them. The photos show any and all flaws clearly. What you see is fair and accurate. These photos were taken to ensure the condition is represented completely. Not original of course are the 14" chrome slotted steel rims, but if you want a set of 15" slotted aluminum rims they are available for an extra $150. The seats are not original, they are green and grey crushed velvet in fair condition and are cleanable with a few tears. Tires are dry rotted but hold air.
