This a very rare 1980 Mercedes 280 Sl, not 450 it was bought in Germany brought to the US and went thru conversion that cost $7000 in 1980, the car has all paper work wich include: 1. Where it was bought , how much was it and how much the conversion cost 2. Every oil change from the first one 3. Every reciept for every repair been done 4. Every registration 5. original documents and many other documents. I never seen any thing like the documentation on this car, the previous owner wanted to keep it so he start to restore it and he died before he finished it. it needs paint and carpet and dash pad replaacment, the car has been primered. The car runs and drive, need a tune up and clean up Never been in an accedent *********** its 100% complete with some extra parts All trim peaces included 4 New tires with 5 original wheels All glass, light lenses and mirrores in great shape, no crakes or chips The body in great shape, no dints what so ever,there is a small area of serface rust on the bottom of the driver side fender that can be fixed easly, see picture I replaced the fuel pump and the ignition coil with a new ones, the car needs a fuel pump realy which cost $ 90 , now am by passing the realy just to move it in and out the garage. it is a 2 seater no back seat it is convertible with hard top cover it has a clear title U will never find another one like this.
