Up for your consideration is a wonderful 2 owner 1960 MGA 1600. Current owner has owned the car for over 40 years, during that time he had the car repainted (original color was British Racing Green), had the interior redone, replaced top, tonneau cover and side curtains, replaced tires, replaced clutch and rebuilt hydraulic system and replaced battery. Optional items the car has are the larger 1600 series motor, wire wheels, factory radio and luggage rack. The motor had been rebuilt by previous owner not long before current owner purchased vehicle, there would be around 15,000 miles on the rebuilt motor. Odometer is not operative and reads 83k but actual miles on vehicle would be nearer 100k. All of the partial resoration work was performed many years ago and vehicle now reflects that fact, the paint has scratches, tires are weather-checked, etc but overall still very presentable, displaying a wonderful aged patina and a joy to drive. There are some minor rust issues in the dog house areas that could use some attention but are very minimal at this point, also the lower pinch welds on both sides could use some attention. There is a spare tire/wheel in the trunk and an extra wire wheel, vehicle also has original jack. This car can be enjoyed as is or would make a great candidate for a major restoration, the car has been well maintained, always garaged and spent its entire life in southern dry climate. I have taken many pictures and described the car honestly and as I see it, I encourage any prospective bidders or buyer representatives to come and inspect the car in person prior to placing bids.
