Vehicle Detail

OK, I just want to start by saying if you are a bidder less than 10 please contact me prior to bidding or winning. I have had two very bad experiences in the last couple of months with people that dont know what their looking at and what they should expect with a car thats 30+ years old. That being said this is a nice "unrestored" 1978 Fiat X-19 that I took in on trade for a Jeep. I deal in 4x4 "mostly Jeeps" and get these in this area from time to time. This is a great little summer car or weekender. The car runs, drives and stops as it should. There are no eveident signs of anything bad like grinding brakes, knocking in the motor or anything crazy like that. I drive it around the neighborhood but have not lisenced it to take it on the road. I would suggest trailer or tow dollie to pick it up but like I said it runs and drives fine. Problems that I have see or noticed: 1. This thing sat by a barn with an overhang covering it for years "in Michigan" so someone before me did some shade tree bondo work on it. Its not bad but its not perfect either "just want to be honest". It cleans up nice but has flaws in the bondo and paint "small chips that have been touched up". I would give the body and paint a 6 out of 10 if I were asked. 2. The headlights go up and down as they should "usually a problem with these". The headlights do not work, not sure if its the bulbs or switch or what? 3. Two of the tires are like new and the other two are ok condition. I do have two nice ones that will go with the car though. 4. The latches for the trunk/engine are broken in one spot but still works "see backs" The good extra stuff: I have tons of spare parts that go with the car. I have things like emblems for the trunk lid, 3 tires, arm rests, molding, spare hard top, alternator "brand new in the box", headlights frames, spoiler, etc etc. All go with the car....I did some checking and I would say its about 800-1000 worth of spare parts if sold serperately. PLEASE, ask questions prior to bidding or winning. The car is sold as is and there is no warantee "obviously". Like I said the car is a good runner and drives fine but I have not gone through everything that should be prior to driving for a long period of time like oil change, trans service, checking brakes etc etc. Hope my honestly helps me avoid any issues with this one and GOOD LUCK on the bidding as it will go to the highest bid! :) On Jun-30-11 at 04:35:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention, the car is for sale locally at a really reasonable price so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. I will however end that listing if the bidding gets up to the asking price to be fair. So if you want it put in your best bid and it can be yours! :) Good Luck!On Jun-30-11 at 09:40:48 PDT, seller added the following information: The car also has a brand new key switch "installed already" with 2 keys
