1964 ( 1965 titled) Mercedes-Benz Heckflosse ( Fintail) Diesel 190Dc Grease-car waste vegetable oil kit installed by a sanctioned greasccar installer. ( a $1100+ retail value) Navy Blue fintail sedan with red MB Tex interior.optional front bench seat"3 on the tree" manual transmission. Car was my daily driver/roadtrip vehicle for 2 years. and is a blast to drive!was mechanically sound and very well maintained during that period.new tires, brakes, exhaust, suspension, air cleaner assembly, etc.was registered through 2009 * at the tail end of a 750+ mile trip she started producing black smoke.after a stint at a mechanic she drove the ~12 miles home, then the ~ 12 miles to garaged storage under her own power...yes, yes..... "it ran when i parked it"...(I'd like to *assume* it's an easy fix, but my attentions have turned to my current driver, an '83 MB 300SD and getting my '48 truck back on the road) car is not assumed to be streetable, and should be towed/trailered from current location. interior is VERY good, with only a few minor tears.exterior polishes up very well, but does tend to oxidize if left.extra parts included! http://greasecar.com/ kit allows for heated vegetable oil as fuel, or as an additional secondary tank for diesel, with independent filters *seller willing to discuss delivery. reasonable distances for reasonable costs.
