This 1957 Chevy Bel Air Sold here in North Texas at Vandergrift Chevrolet in Arlington, TX to RT McGlew. In 1969 the Second owner purchased the car; today in his upper 70s the Second owner has given a detailed history on the car and had a complete Frame-Off Restoration completed. This Bel Air comes with a Clear Texas title showing the Original owners name and second owner, title was issued in 1974 when Arlington Bank and Trust Issued a lien on the title for the second owner. The Ending is her Original 283 and during restoration was completely rebuilt and balanced. Transmission is also her original and was completely rebuilt as well as her rear axle. The intake, heads and many of her engine parts are all Original (Air Cleaner, Valve Covers, Fuel Filter System). Being from North Texas, only a 2-owner and garaged; this Bel Air had no major rust repairs and sheet metal is Original. During the Restoration, this Bel Air had the body removed from the frame and every nut, bolt and wire was either restored or replaced with quality parts. Everything works; all dash lights, Wipers, Lights, interior light and dimmer, radio and even has her Original Cig Lighter and Keys. I would drive this car anywhere with the windows up and the A/C on. During restoration an aftermarket A/C System was added and it works great. Other than the A/C system and the additional (electric) fan; the car was built to be and stay Original. This 1957 Chevy Bel Air Sold here in North Texas at Vandergrift Chevrolet in Arlington, TX to RT McGlew. In 1969 the Second owner purchased the car; today in his upper 70s the Second owner has given a detailed history on the car and had a complete Frame-Off Restoration completed. This Bel Air comes with a Clear Texas title showing the Original owners name and second owner, title was issued in 1974 when Arlington Bank and Trust Issued a lien on the title for the second owner. The Ending is her Original 283 and during restoration was completely rebuilt and balanced. Transmission is also her original and was completely rebuilt as well as her rear axle. The intake, heads and many of her engine parts are all Original (Air Cleaner, Valve Covers, Fuel Filter System). Being from North Texas, only a 2-owner and garaged; this Bel Air had no major rust repairs and sheet metal is Original. During the Restoration, this Bel Air had the body removed from the frame and every nut, bolt and wire was either restored or replaced with quality parts. Everything works; all dash lights, Wipers, Lights, interior light and dimmer, radio and even has her Original Cig Lighter and Keys. I would drive this car anywhere with the windows up and the A/C on. During restoration an aftermarket A/C System was added and it works great. Other than the A/C system and the additional (electric) fan; the car was built to be and stay Original.
