I am a licensed used car dealer. Please feel free to contact me with any and every question, I want to make this transaction as smooth and comfortable for everyone involved. I will gladly assist with shipping this vehicle anywhere, but only after payment of the vehicle has been made in full. Vehicle will come with a clear New Jersey State title. Currently the vehicle is in Long Island, NY very close to Nassau Colosieum / Hofstra University in a town called Uniondale, zip code is 11553. The vehicle does run, but wont idle on its own, it needs to be checked out/tuned up. In order to keep the engine running, you have to floor the accelerator pedal, otherwise it will stall. It does this 99% of the time, there were a few times where I was able to start the vehicle and it idled on its own, but 99% of the time you have to floor the accelerator pedal. I have not driven this vehicle on a public road, I have moved driven it about 20 ft. up my driveway and that was it. There is also an oil leak which needs to be taken care of before it's driven on the road. The engine does sound strong when it is running though, you will just have to sort out the idling issue and the oil leak. I have done a search online and it seems a common causes of this problem are cracked vacuum hose(s) especially by the brake booster area and/or carbs that need to be adjusted. I am not 100% sure that is what the problem is, but it seems that those are two common causes of the symptoms this vehicle is having. DO NOT EXPECT TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AWAY. IT SHOULD BE TOWED & CHECKED OUT PROPERLY BEFORE IT HITS THE ROAD. This is an extremely nice vehicle that will not need much work to make into a real beauty. There seems to be almost no major rust anywhere on this vehicle which is pretty amazing for its age. There are some stone chips on the front of the bus and there are some etremely minor surface spots of rust where the paint is missing. There is some missing paint by the rear windows and also some missing paint on the roof where the camper top sits on the roof and has rubbed off the paint over time. Overall vehicle is extremely solid & tight. The camper top is pretty solid, there are 2 spots where the fabric is thinning, I have taken pictures of that area. The wood finishes are flaking off of some of the shelving and other areas. I am not sure if the stove, fridge, sink work but everything is pretty complete. This vehicle appears to have been well taken care of. You will see everything in the pics, I have tried to photo every inch of the vehicle. There is a 500.00 PayPal deposit due within 24 hours after the close of the auction. After the deposit is paid, you can pay the balance in person via cash. Full payment is due within 3 calendar days after the close of the auction. If you are not able to pick up the cehicle withing 3 calendar days, the full payment is still due. I will give US bidders 7 days after the close of the auction to pick up the vehicle and if anyone is shipping internationally, I will give them 14 days after the close of the auction.
