This auction is for a 1965 chevrolet C-10 1/2 ton longbed. the truck has a 230 6 cylinder engine, and a 3 speed manual transmission with the shift on the column. the carb. has been rebuilt new plugs, plug wires, dist. cap, rotor and points installed.the truck runs good and shifts well. all guages work, a new gas tank guage sending unit has been put in the tank.the brake lines have been replaced. the truck has power steering that works great.the exhaust appears to be fairly new and is quiet. the truck runs and drives very good,however the bearing at the bottom of the steering column needs replaced. The truck has had a repaint at sometime. I had intentions of makeing the truck a sort of rat rod shop truck and it is the right condition for this, if you want a show truck then it will need a total restoration.the truck was last plated in 2008, the tires have been replaced with just some tires that were available they do not match, but hold air and are road worthy.i am sure the truck would drive even better with new or better ones.the bed floor is solid, doors open and shut good and the glass is all intact no cracks.this truck would make a great daily driver, or slam it down , put on some cool wheels and have a super ole beater. I have only had the truck for a short period of time and I have attempted to describe it the best I can.any questions will be answered honestly and promptly. I should also mention that the truck has a 1962 grille, but is a 1965. the miles stated are not the auctal miles but something needs to be in the blank! .
