I would not think of subjecting this beauty to the roadway, as it belongs on a flatbed truck. 1991 Mazda RX7 Convertible - Last year of production - only 3,151 built. This is basically a time capsule car that is most likely one of the lowest mile ones left. It is the very sporty Snow White / Black combo, 5 speed, that is 100% completely stock original with the exception of the battery, a couple of belts, and the tires How many do you think were built and are left in this shape? It comes from the Grandparents 1 owner non-smoking home with 33000 softly driven miles. They are simply to old for it at this point. This car was way ahead of its' time, having one of the first hardtop convertible prototypes, 1st year RX7 drivers side airbag, special BBS wheels built for this car, and the surround sound stereo in the headrests. It has been babied, kept in a climate controlled garage, and is in pristine condition. I have the orig. window sticker, purchase order, dealer key chain, and supplemental paperwork. I would imagine that with these miles and options, finding one in this shape documented is pretty rare. It is an original example, never been in accident, or cosmetically modified in any way whatsoever. This baby has ALWAYS BEEN GARAGE KEPT / COVERED, used only during Summer months, and never in harsh conditions. For those RX7 purists, it is definitely a must have. It is ready to take for car shows, look at it, or enjoy it on Sundays, The Original White Paint shines like it was still 1991. There is no body damage, and it was Ziebarted and undercoated when new, so no rust on the body, nor is there a mark on the front end. All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panel, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The wheels have no abuse and the tires have excellent tread life left. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. I have all of the books and literature that go with her too. The exterior is a strong 9.8 / 10. On the inside, the Black interior still looks, feels, and maintains that newer appeal. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered, the floor mats are still original ( and I have mats over the mats ), the door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original / impeccable. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release, and even the clock keeps perfect time work without issue. The factory stereo system with orig speakers & power antenna are still is in excellent working order. The spare tire compartment / trunk still has the orig. spare- never on the ground, inflator, jack, bolts, tourneau cover, targa bag, and paperwork still in place.The undercarriage is dry, spotless, and rust free too. Inside, it is a 9.9 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a "well-oiled" machine would. All of the servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The engine compartment / undercarriage are extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the engine has great pick-up, plus with the 5 speed you get better handling and a little more "pop" when you pull away. The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions perform without issue. If you are looking for an unmolested, hard to find RX7 Convertible, here you go. These cars are few and far between and will surely appreciate in the years to come. I think it is priced very fairly compared to the others listed on ebay and what else exists. Let's put it this way, there is no way anyone would be disappointed in this car.
