The odometer reads 14,504 Miles and that is the mileage put on the Delivery since it was completed. This truck is a SOLID - DRY - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western vehicle. This Classic 1947 Chevy Sedan Delivery Street Rod has a STRONG - BUILT 350 CID V8 Motor in it that is running very well indeed. Sounds good too with the Ram Horn exhaust manifolds and rear exit exhaust with chrome Bowtie tip that has a nice "Street Rod" rumble to it. The engine is backed by a smooth TH350 three speed automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. It has plenty of power down low and still cruises down the freeway at 70 MPH at a low RPM, how could it get any better !! The front-end is a Mustang II Power Rack and Pinion designed for this truck so it drives down the road like a new car. The owner bought the sedan delivery in November 15, 1989 in Twin Falls, ID for $1500. It had been used in the Buhl Idaho area up to a year or so to him buying it. It was used for a delivery business. He started the restoration approximately 5 years later and it was painted in November of 2000. Non smoker owned, enjoyed 14k proven miles and always garaged. The body started as a DRY - SOLID - high mountain desert Idaho specimen. It has been treated to tastefully done modifications prior to its two-tone finish including frenched headlights / tail-lights / license holder, 3rd brake light, custom grill / bumper, V-butt windshield, sport mirrors and sitting low on a nice set of (14"frt/15"rear) vintage US/Ansen Mag Wheels with spinners wrapped in radial rubber. The chassis has been updated with a fully independent Mustang II front suspension, power rack-n-pinion steering, power front disc brakes, front stabilizer bar, drum rear brakes and more. The power-train consists of an ever dependable GM 350 V-8 equipped with Edelbrock aluminum intake, Quadra Jet 4V Carb, HEI Ignition. Transfer of power consists of a Turbo 350 Hydro Automatic Transmission and a Pontiac Ventura rear end sitting on factory springs. Hop inside to find a comfy custom gray tweed velour interior, late model GM bucket seats, VDO Gauges Inserts, Power Windows, Vintage Heat, plumbed for Vintage Air (no compressor), Oldsmobile tilt steering column and a Pioneer AM/FM Cassette Stereo with front and back Pioneer speakers. This Classic 1947 Chevy Sedan Delivery Street Rod has a STRONG - BUILT 350 CID V8 Motor in it that is running very well indeed. Sounds good too with the Ram Horn exhaust manifolds and rear exit exhaust with chrome Bowtie tip that has a nice "Street Rod" rumble to it. The engine is backed by a smooth TH350 three speed automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. It has plenty of power down low and still cruises down the freeway at 70 MPH at a low RPM, how could it get any better !! The front-end is a Mustang II Power Rack and Pinion designed for this truck so it drives down the road like a new car. The owner bought the sedan delivery in November 15, 1989 in Twin Falls, ID for $1500. It had been used in the Buhl Idaho area up to a year or so to him buying it. It was used for a delivery business. He started the restoration approximately 5 years later and it was painted in November of 2000.
Non smoker owned, enjoyed 14k proven miles and always garaged. The body started as a DRY - SOLID - high mountain desert Idaho specimen. It has been treated to tastefully done modifications prior to its two-tone finish including frenched headlights / tail-lights / license holder, 3rd brake light, custom grill / bumper, V-butt windshield, sport mirrors and sitting low on a nice set of (14"frt/15"rear) vintage US/Ansen Mag Wheels with spinners wrapped in radial rubber. The chassis has been updated with a fully independent Mustang II front suspension, power rack-n-pinion steering, power front disc brakes, front stabilizer bar, drum rear brakes and more. The power-train consists of an ever dependable GM 350 V-8 equipped with Edelbrock aluminum intake, Quadra Jet 4V Carb, HEI Ignition. Transfer of power consists of a Turbo 350 Hydro Automatic Transmission and a Pontiac Ventura rear end sitting on factory springs.
