2001 GMC Sierra 3500 SLE 4x4, 6.6 Duramax diesel, Allison Auto transmission, 4 door crew cab, 8' bed Dually, Matching ARE fiberglass cap, Ryno bed liner, Power windows, locks, Cold a/c, cruise, Tilt wheel, CD, push button 4x4, dual power seats, Tow package, 195k miles This truck runs and looks pretty good but, will need some work to be a perfect truck. The body is in good shape with exception of the bottom of the rear dually flares (see pictures). The paint looks original and shines well. There are a few minor dings, chips and scratches that should be expected on a used truck. The right side of the grill is cracked (see picture). There is no rust on the body anywhere. The frame has typical North East surface rust. There is tie down points on the front of the bed sides (see pictures). It looks like a little white paint was spilled in the bed (see pictures). The interior is in good condition. It smells and looks like a non-smokers truck. All the power options work with exception of the drivers window only goes about half way down (probably regulator). There is no tears in the carpet or fabric. It looks like a well kept truck. The engine starts right up and runs strong. There are no leaks. The truck when warm does idle up and down a little. It also smokes very little when warm and smells like unburnt diesel fuel. This does not affect the way the truck runs. It runs great! I was told by a local diesel shop that a injector may be sticking, causing the light smoke. I put almost 300 miles on the truck with no problems. The transmission and 4x4 work great. The front tires are worn uneven, so it may need aligned. The dont look like they were ever rotated which could be the reason. It does drive pretty strait down the road. I would think you could drive this truck home any where in the USA. I am selling the truck AS/IS and you can come inspect the truck in person at my shop. KBB retail price is $17900 (check yourself). I am pricing this truck at $8900 to sell fast. I know it needs some work, this is why the low price. We can do some or all of the repairs at our shop if you would like at an additional cost.
