Vehicle Detail

I am forced to sell my 1955 Buick super. It is a 4 door sedan and in excellent condition. It is truly a Arizona rust free beauty! Even most of the exhaust is original and in great shape. You can even loosen the exhaust manifold bolts that rust off so quickly in other parts of the country. The speedo says 59,XXX now but I had to put a cable on it when I bought it. The drivetrain seems to have low mileage tho. It has the 322 Nailhead motor that runs great. The trans is a dynaflow and also works nicely. Both seem to be original. All electrical options like windows, signals, horn, high/low beams work as intended. The factory radio was dead when I got it so I installed a hidden Pioneer CD/MP3 player in the factory speaker location. It has custom kick panels up front with 6 1/2 inch 2 way speakers and 3 way 6x9's under the rear deck mounted in boxes. It really sounds good and the speaker grille pops on and off easily to conceal it. All the gauges work and light up nice at night. Headlights are halogen. The paint is a two tone green and tan that is ten plus years old. It is starting to fade and patina a bit. The previous owner sanded the trunk a bit and then gave up. I kind of like it like this. The sides are shiny but the top parts are faded. Its an old car, give it a break. These aren't the factory colors, those were two shades of UGLY green. It has air ride suspension. It has 2600 lb bags front and rear with dual compressors, dual gauges and switches so you can run different heights back to front. The rear still has the hydraulic shocks that work great and don't leak a bit! It rides pretty good and really turns heads when ts on the ground. It doesn't quite lay frame on the 20's but comes close with the 15's on it. The wheels are 20 inch 150 spoke true knock offs with nearly new Goodyear Eagle tires. I wasn't sure if I would like them when I got it, but they really grew on me. Yes, it has boobie tassels on the front bumper. You are welcome! I have a bunch of original parts like all the stainless trim for the fenders, the a/c from the trunk, rear view mirror, wheels/tires/ hubcaps. The stock tires are almost new as well and are 235-75-15 radials with white walls. It has new wheel bearings all the way around and the brake are good. The pedal is nice and firm after the latest adjustment. The seats are redone and the carpet/insulation is new. The headliner is mink and so are the kick panels and speaker cover on the rear deck. The headliner is just tucked under the rods for now and could use a professionals touch if you want a show car. If not, rock it like I do. It looks cool. It has about a 100 chrome one inch bullets for trim now. The lower rows are in the factory holes. The uppers are glued on so they could all be removed if wanted. Just dont tell me you're going to do that-it took forever to install those! Well, thats about it. Any questions please dont hesitate to email me. Ill be happy to answer them as quickly and accurately as possible. Thanks! It has no rust. None. Not any. The Buick was used in this music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlLsuMHgn7o&hd=1 I almost forgot about the bad stuff... There is a crack in the windshield, the oil pan gasket leaks a bit and so does the trans pan. I resealed the valve cover gaskets a while back and that helped but it will still leave some spots on the floor. Also I converted the oil bath air cleaner to a paper element type. The housing still looks the same, but now it holds a couple round paper element filters. Much cleaner. It has an electric fuel pump with a regulator near the carb also. That was on the car when I bought it and works good. I rebuilt the reg. last month. It also has a Flowmaster muffler. The car now has a rear bumper. It was missing when some of the pics were taken but now is installed. *****Thanks*****
