Bid with confidence this 912 is mint….. CAR WITH A STORY About a month ago we went to Rochester New York to speak with a man about a very low mileage Porsche 928. To our surprise when we got there we were looking at over 8 different Porsche cars all in fantastic condition. He explained he was the original owner of all of these classic relics and was selling them and all his properties to travel the world with his wife. He has taken care of them all the best he can at the age of 76. The cars have very low mileage but were all in need of some TLC and some work. We picked up three for now. We bought our Porsche 928, we bought a Porsche 914 which just sold on eBay and we purchased this wonderful Porsche 912. The front-end suspension pan was in need of replacement so a complete new suspension pan has been installed.(PROFESSIONALLY). Like all early 912 and 911's the rotting suspension pans are an issue because of the placement of the battery. Even if you find one that is in really good condition, it’s not like a new one. It is a very long and specific procedure to do this but is well worth the results. I would not do 100Mph with a stock pan....PERIOD....
