Up for sale is a 1988 Ford F-250. The engine is a 5.8L V8. It is a 4-speed manual with overdrive. What you see is pretty much what you get -- a well-used truck that still has plenty of life & hauling power left. You won't set any speed records on the highway but you can pull just about anything. In the snow the truck is unstoppable with some weight in the bed, I never got the chance to put a plow on it. I recently changed the spark plug wires, distributor cap, and spark plugs but the truck could still use a complete tune-up. Last summer I put on a new muffler. There is rust in all of the usual spots on a 23-yr old Ford and the exhaust system forward of the muffler could use a bit of attention. The truck has two gas tanks & the gas gauge works irregularly. I haven't checked to see if its the sending unit or the gauge itself. While the truck has air-conditioning the compressor is seized and therefore doesn't work. Driver's side door has a dent so when that door opens it kind of pops. Valid PA inspection through August 2011 and a clear PA title. I strongly recommend an in-person inspection, I live in Bethel, PA (Berks County) just off of I-78. If you have any questions or need more pictures let me know.
