You are bidding on 1965 mustang Coupe Resto-Mod. This is NOT a stock restoration> This is the result of a total tear down & rebuild using after market parts, some stock replacment, MOST ARE NOT. Starting with drive train> This is a 347 full roller stroker motor (short block from Coast High Performance) comp cams 545/556 lift, 216/224 Duration with 112 Degree lobe seperation. Edelbrock RPM Heads & intake & 600 CFM carburator,new DUI electronic distributor, new Fluid dampner harmonic balancer & 3000 rpm stall converter, 1 5/8" headers, 2 1/4" aluminized dual exhaust with cross over exiting through flowmasters. The engine is cooled via a 4 row Fluidyne aluminum radiator, mechanical fan with an a manualy controled perma-cool electric back up. COAST HIGH PERFORMANCE ESTIMATED 415 HP & 455FT LBS TORQUE. The transmission is a highly modified C-4 with a full manual valve body with B&M deep sump & external trans cooler ( the first C-4 shattered planetary gear on 1st pull) This one survived many. The rear end is a 355 posi-traction built by Broward Power Train. The suspension was completly gutted front & rear, replaced with high quailty after market pieces including leaf & coil springs & oversized sway bar with urethane bushings, GT 350 traction bars, Brakes front & rear rebuilt, New gas tank, Battery relocated to trunk, New chrome alternator, new water pump, After market 134a (Original style) A/C system. The body: All body panels were taken down to bare metal prepped & painted with 1966 Mustang Blue (can't remember the name) and yes there were acouple of rust spots, these areas were addressed. The hood was replaced with a (GT 350 style) fiberglass unit with funcinal hood scoop All new chrome (except what I shaved) all new weather striping & new front windshild. New interior & exterior door handles. The interior: Completly gutted> New carpet, new seat covers, new head liner, new dash cover, installed front power windows, Dakota digital dash, After market 134a (original style) A/C system, new heater core, new fan blower motor, all new swtches & ignition, new glove box door, new door panels, new stock shifter,Blaupunkt- Alaska AM/ FM /CD player. with 2 rear 6X9s 2 front 5" at kick panels, 2 door panel 2" tweaters, 1- 12" woffer & 2 trunk mounted Amps. Painted dash sanded to bare metal & repainted orginal color (parchment) I have all reciepts for everything. (Over $ 21,000 worth) all work was completed 8 years ago, in that time a total of 18,800 miles have acumilated. NOW PAY ATTENTION these are the CONS . Though the power steering system was reeplaced with aftermarket parts. it leaked from day 1! I got frustrated and removed the pump & hoses & have driven it as manual steering ever since. I have the parts if you want them. (if anything I would change to manual rack & pinnion) 2. There is nickel sized ding in the front drivers fender & minor gravel chips (touched up) 3. Over both door rails the paint is bubbled up, the drivers door has a small area (about 2") of paint bubbled & 2 spots half the size of a dime at the bottom left corner of the rear window bubbled. ( hey it's been 8 years) 4. The amp for the sub woofer has stopped working ( not sure why) THAT'S IT! The car runs GREAT & is a blast to drive.
