1980 Chevy Silverado K20, 2500 4X4 with the 4 speed with the very low (granny) first gear. This is a running vehicle but it is a project with a lot of rust. I am selling it because I got it as a trade for a motorcycle and I have too many projects that I need to finish, so I could use the space and cash. The engine and transmission are in good shape, the car was running fine with a little smoke. I actually drove it home from the trade. I am changing the carburetor as we speak because the one that the car came with belongs to the previous owner. The a/c system is there and the previous owner claims that if the controls are changed then the system can be operational. The Bad points of the truck are: -Rust on the panels and the bed -The gas tank has a hole and they have installed a temporary plastic tank in the bed -Interior is there complete but needs cleanup and a new dash pad The Good points: -4speed with the very low gear manual transmission - Great for off roading, mudding etc. -Floating axle, which are way stronger and more desirable than the new trucks -Dual exhaust system -Aluminum wheels with 285/75/16 tires -It can make a great toy for offroading, mudding, towing, pulling The truck is sold as is and no warranties are expressed or implied. I am open to all offers and although I would prefer cash I may take into consideration any possible trades. I reserve the right to end this auction at any given time since the truck is also locally available for sale. I would prefer cash, check or cashiers check on pickup. I could accept PayPal but I have heard of a few scams involving paypal and buyers that get away with the car and the money and I would like to avoid that.
