If you have, you know that even if you started with a free car with no rust it would cost you $30,000.00 to do to it what this Roadster has had done to it. It was built by, in my opinion, one the best builders in this area right here in Idaho. I sold a Buick show car for him that he built several years ago and the new owner was overjoyed at the Qaulity of this guy's work in building that car. He started out with a 1931 Chevrolet A&E Special Sedan with dual side mounts and hand built this car nine years ago for his 78 year old mother and she has only driven the car 1,464 miles. There is not a single nut or bolt that wasn't replaced and everything was redone or replaced. WOW, this is a beauty !!! The only non-steel part of the car is the Superior Glass Works front and rear fenders with integrated "smoothie" running boards and boy do they look COOL !! The body is modified but is the original steel body. The paint on this car is a STUNNING QUALITY JOB done in Purple Velvet and it is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL for sure !!. I just can't say enough about what a great job was done on this car. The front end of this Roadster has a Mustang ll front end with Street Rod Engineering Front Cross Member power steering, TCI Parallel 4 link, Mustang ll A arms. coil overs, Mullins steering gear and Mullins universal joints / shafts and disc brakes. It drives down the road straight and handles like a sports car. It has a custom Rock Valley Stainless Steel Fuel Tank and a custom Brass works radiator. The chrome front bumper is custom fabricated with amber park lights mounted in the ends and the rear chrome bumpers are Ford and they are all in Nice shape. The headlight's are 31' Chevy truck headlights with turn signals fabricated inside the headlights themselves and the tailights are chrome custom fabricated with Ron Francis High Intensity taillight bulbs. The stone guards on the radiator, headlights and steering rack are all custom powder coated and match. The original spare tire mount was modified and moved to the rear and a 50's school bus brake light was used and fabricated into the the spare tire mount as a third or eye level brake light, TO COOL !! The attention to detail on this ONE OF A KIND ROADSTER is FANTASTIC. THIS IS A QAULITY CAR !! The wiring was also redone. It has a 56" Ford truck steering column with a beautiful Moon metalflake steering wheel. It also has Vintage R134 Air Conditioning and Heater with a Alan Grove A/C Compresser and Alan Grove Alternator brackets ( The air conditioner is all there but has never been charged or used as the car has no top). It has a Clarion AM/FM stereo with cassette tape player with detachable face and 6x9 speakers mounted in the back. This is better than a new car, nobody built a car this nice in 1931 !! We took this car to a local car show and you can't believe the attention it draws and it won second place to boot !! THIS IS A QAULITY CAR WITH 1,464 MILES SINCE IT WAS BUILT !!This Chevy has a "GROUND POUNDING" 350 CID (Engine Rebuilders Co.) motor that has a mid range stage 1 cam, Edelbrock four barrel carburator, Edelbrock Torque ll manifold, MSD ignition pro super coil, Spal cooling fan, Chrome Alan Grove A/C Compressor and a chrome alternator. The motor is matched up with a smooth Re-built 350 3-speed Automatic transmission with Lokar shifter, Lokar emergency brake and cables. The positrack rear end came from a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am and is disc brake equipped. Tire smoking power that sounds great too with the "throaty" sounding custom headers and custom dual exhaust system. Check out the BEAUTIFUL Custom Turned Aluminum firewall, WOW !! This car is such a fun driver to say the least !!! I drove this roadster for a couple of days in town and on the freeway and I have to tell you it was a joy to drive. It drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes. Another thing that was really nice about this car is how comfortable and easy to drive it was. I am 6'2" tall and had plenty of leg room and it was easy to get in and out of this car. It also has a Remco tow package (tow bar removed) front brackets remain and a Remco disconnecting drive shaft as the owners were going to tow the car but never did. This vehicle is in FANTASTIC condition from top to bottom and from front to back. THIS IS A STUNNING - QUALITY VEHICLE !! It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector show car. Behind the two bucket seats on the floor is a Very Nice custom storage box built out of South American Purple Heart wood. This box is for storage and also contains the battery for easy access if needed. The dash on this car is BEAUTIFUL and came from a 1930 Buick with a full set of modern VDO gauges and custom fabricated / integrated air conditioning vents. What a GORGEOUS color combination !! Have you been looking to build a one of a kind Custom Chevrolet Roadster Street Rod Show Car ? If you have, you know that even if you started with a free car with no rust it would cost you $30,000.00 to do to it what this Roadster has had done to it. It was built by, in my opinion, one the best builders in this area right here in Idaho. I sold a Buick show car for him that he built several years ago and the new owner was overjoyed at the Qaulity of this guy's work in building that car. He started out with a 1931 Chevrolet A&E Special Sedan with dual side mounts and hand built this car nine years ago for his 78 year old mother and she has only driven the car 1,464 miles. There is not a single nut or bolt that wasn't replaced and everything was redone or replaced. WOW, this is a beauty !!! The only non-steel part of the car is the Superior Glass Works front and rear fenders with integrated "smoothie" running boards and boy do they look COOL !! The body is modified but is the original steel body. The paint on this car is a STUNNING QUALITY JOB done in Purple Velvet and it is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL for sure !!. I just can't say enough about what a great job was done on this car. The front end of this Roadster has a Mustang ll front end with Street Rod Engineering Front Cross Member power steering, TCI Parallel 4 link, Mustang ll A arms. coil overs, Mullins steering gear and Mullins universal joints / shafts and disc brakes. It drives down the road straight and handles like a sports car. It has a custom Rock Valley Stainless Steel Fuel Tank and a custom Brass works radiator. The chrome front bumper is custom fabricated with amber park lights mounted in the ends and the rear chrome bumpers are Ford and they are all in Nice shape. The headlight's are 31' Chevy truck headlights with turn signals fabricated inside the headlights themselves and the tailights are chrome custom fabricated with Ron Francis High Intensity taillight bulbs. The stone guards on the radiator, headlights and steering rack are all custom powder coated and match. The original spare tire mount was modified and moved to the rear and a 50's school bus brake light was used and fabricated into the the spare tire mount as a third or eye level brake light, TO COOL !! The attention to detail on this ONE OF A KIND ROADSTER is FANTASTIC. THIS IS A QAULITY CAR !! The wiring was also redone. It has a 56" Ford truck steering column with a beautiful Moon metalflake steering wheel. It also has Vintage R134 Air Conditioning and Heater with a Alan Grove A/C Compresser and Alan Grove Alternator brackets ( The air conditioner is all there but has never been charged or used as the car has no top). It has a Clarion AM/FM stereo with cassette tape player with detachable face and 6x9 speakers mounted in the back. This is better than a new car, nobody built a car this nice in 1931 !! We took this car to a local car show and you can't believe the attention it draws and it won second place to boot !! This Chevy has a "GROUND POUNDING" 350 CID (Engine Rebuilders Co.) motor that has a mid range stage 1 cam, Edelbrock four barrel carburator, Edelbrock Torque ll manifold, MSD ignition pro super coil, Spal cooling fan, Chrome Alan Grove A/C Compressor and a chrome alternator. The motor is matched up with a smooth Re-built 350 3-speed Automatic transmission with Lokar shifter, Lokar emergency brake and cables. The positrack rear end came from a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am and is disc brake equipped. Tire smoking power that sounds great too with the "throaty" sounding custom headers and custom dual exhaust system. Check out the BEAUTIFUL Custom Turned Aluminum firewall, WOW !! This car is such a fun driver to say the least !!! I drove this roadster for a couple of days in town and on the freeway and I have to tell you it was a joy to drive. It drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes. Another thing that was really nice about this car is how comfortable and easy to drive it was. I am 6'2" tall and had plenty of leg room and it was easy to get in and out of this car. It also has a Remco tow package (tow bar removed) front brackets remain and a Remco disconnecting drive shaft as the owners were going to tow the car but never did. This vehicle is in FANTASTIC condition from top to bottom and from front to back. THIS IS A STUNNING - QUALITY VEHICLE !! It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector show car. If you have been looking but can not find a nice Classic Chevy Roadster Street Rod worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one !
The Purple Velvet finish on this vehicle is a STUNNING - EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL paint job with the custom mounted brass Klaxon horn, custom louvered hood with Dan Fink hood hinges, positive pin door latches and custom Brass Eagle Hood ornament what a work of art, UNBELIEVABLE !! The Purple Velvet interior with BEAUTIFUL Gray bucket seats with retractable armrest's that are out of a Cessna Citation lll airplane and cost $4,000.00 each when they were new !! Behind the two bucket seats on the floor is a Very Nice custom storage box built out of South American Purple Heart wood. This box is for storage and also contains the battery for easy access if needed. The dash on this car is BEAUTIFUL and came from a 1930 Buick with a full set of modern VDO gauges and custom fabricated / integrated air conditioning vents. What a GORGEOUS color combination !! How could you get any better !!? Check out the custom "Moon' disc wheel covers which are not copies but authentic with nearly new radial tires boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING and give it that Custom Street Rod 50's look !! WOW!!! I looked underneath and it is as nice underneath as it is on top ! It also has (Dot 5) Power brakes with Classic tube brake lines. This Roadster has been taken apart and put back together 1464 MILES ago !!
