Vehicle Detail

Here is your chance to own a first model year CB750 that is about as original and stock as you will ever find. Unmolested, unrestored, 1969 – 1970 Honda CB750K0 (CB750 K0). Frame serial number is CB750-1018081, engine CB750E-1017537 (the engine is original). It runs well and does not leak oil. Mileage is less than 19,000. It does not appear to have ever been dropped or wrecked. This Honda is all original except for the tires, chain, battery, and handgrips. Manufacture date 1/70. This bike has all the “K0” highly sought after parts such as; “wrinkle” tank, short chain guard, early style ignition switch, black engine kill switch, double-cut front fender, early style rounded-edge rims, duct-tail seat, 4-cable carburetors, smooth air box, flat silver muffler shields (I touched them up), etc. I never could bring myself to restore the bike since it was so original. I do not mind the patina of a motorcycle that is 41+ years old. Exhaust - The exhaust system is original; no paragraph stamped into the mufflers, no factory dent under the foot pegs. The mufflers are not rusted out, and have their original baffles in them. One of the mufflers has a dent near the end. Bodywork – Original blue-green paint. The tank is a “wrinkle” tank, and the inside is very clean. There are no dents in the tank or headlight ears. There are a few small corrosion spots on the top of the tank. There is some staining of the gold stripes. The air box has a few small cracks. The headlight shell has a small crack near one or the mounts. The side cover tabs are intact. Chrome – All original. Early “double-cut” front fender. Light pitting on the fenders. The rims are in good shape. Some corrosion on small chrome pieces. Seat – original duct-tail, foam is old and does not have much “spring” anymore. The cover and trim are in good condtion. Electrical – Everything works! The wiring is in very good condition, especially considering its age. The turn signal flasher is getting old – flashes slightly faster than it should. Charging system works. Electric starter works. Lights and brake lights work. Wheels and brakes – Straight wheels and rims, with slight corrosion on the spokes (no brown rust). Tires are 1980’s Continentals and should be replaced if one wants to ride more than a few miles. I rebuilt the front caliper a few months ago, and the master cylinder a couple of years ago. Paperwork – I do not have a title. GA, and many other States do not require a title for a vehicle this old. I will furnish a Bill of Sale. The engine cases are undamaged (damage in the front sprocket area was common). Payment and Shipping: Please make sure you have the money to purchase the motorcycle before you bid. Please remember this is a 41+ year old motorcycle. There is no warranty. I have tried to be a descriptive and straight forward as possible. Please review all the photos and if you need a specific shot, contact me, I should be able to send you additional photos if you have a particular need. Contact me via Ebay if you have questions. I always try to respond quickly. I suggest you read my feedback. Almost all my Ebay transactions are motorcycles or motorcycle related items. I have 100% positive feedback and intend to maintain it. If you have less than 5 feedbacks, or your feedback is less than 95%, please contact me prior to bidding, otherwise your bid may be removed. A $300 deposit via Paypal is required within 24 hours of auction end. This deposit will not be refunded because the high bidder changed their mind or does not have the balance. The balance is due within 10 days of auction end. Cash in person, certified funds, or wire transfer for the balance due. If you prefer to pay the balance via Paypal, you must pay the Paypal fee (3% I believe). The purchaser must pick up the bike within 14 days of auction close. I will ship to overseas buyers. The purchaser must make all shipping arrangements. I suggest U-ship if in the continental US. I will not allow the motorcycle to leave until full payment is received.
