Your search has ended. Everything on this 356 works as it should! The car spent most of its life in Texas with one of its owners using this 356 as his every day car for over 33 years. This 356 has the correct engine for a 1965 356 C but it is not the original engine. This 356 is an original car but not a numbers matching car. Optional Equipment ; Original Blaupunct AM/FM Radio, Nardi Wood Steering Wheel, Wood Gear Shift Knob, Coco Floor Mats, Talbot Racing Mirror, Amco Luggage Rack, Hella Fog Lamps (with original Hella switch), Hella Headlamps and 4 New Vredstein Tires. Also included are inside luggage straps and a car cover. Over $48,000 has been invested with work performed by a nationally recognized air cooled specialist. Service records will be provided with the car. A Partial List of Work Performed includes; Rebuilt Zenith Carburetors, New Koni Shocks, New Dansk Stock Exhaust System, Rebuilt Battery Box & New Optima Battery, Interior lights replaced, fuse box reconditioned, gauges repaired, cables replaced or repaired, brakes rebuilt new brake lines, replaced rear axle seals, replaced steering box, new flapper box, etc. etc. Other work; New front windshield with rubber seal, rear window rubber seal and new bumperettes. The car was repainted by a previous owner in a metallic white, not an original color but actually more beautiful. A new headliner was also installed. The two front seats and dash panel were reupholstered by a world famous upholsterer. This Porsche took third place in its class at the June 2010 Connecticut Valley Region Porsche Club of America People's Choice Fathers day event. This Porsche was given a full inspection by a professional Porsche Mechanic on 6/8/11. The mechanics opinion was that the cars body was solid and the road test proved that this 356 runs and handles beautifully!
