Guess who's back, back again, tell a friend... Attention: Investors, Collectors and Mustang Enthusiasts! There are a lot of sports cars out there but only a few of them have put their place on the map of being one of the best sport cars ever built. The 2003 Mustang Cobra is one of them. In some peoples opinion it was the best Mustang ever built. In 2003, only 8394 Cobras were ever built. Of those 8394 only 2003 10 Anniversary editions were produced! Listed below is one of them. Not only was this Cobra great looking but it was a street pounding machine. The 4.6 DOHC Supercharged V8 has a cast iron block with aluminum heads. It also has a forged crankshaft, rods and pistons which are extremely strong and can handle tons of power. Ford claimed the engine had 390 HP but it really produced 450 HP. Ford didn’t want it to compete with the more expensive Cobra “R”. As it was the 2003 Cobra listed for $34,750 and the 10th Anniversary Edition was even more. Some people paid up to $40,000 to get their hands one of these bad boys. The 2003 Mustang Cobra 10th Anniversary listed below is in absolutely show quality as the pictures indicate and has been babied since new. It also has some really sweet modifications that bump the horsepower in the 550+ range. Yes, 550 HORSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --> Maybe it’s too much car for you to handle..... Keywords that describe this show quality street machine: 1. As I mentioned above the 2003 Mustang Cobra 10th Anniversary Edition is a very limited production car with only 2003 ever built. It will always be very collectable. This car not only is collectable but a great looking car with tons of power. It will provide years of excitement without putting a big dent in the bank account. 2. This Mustang was purchased new in 10/09/2003 in Fort Myers, Florida. It was a one owner up until 01/03/2011 and spent its entire life in excellent climate conditions. This car was babied its entire life and has a perfect Car Fax report which is included with the sale. 3. All the SVT documents from Ford, owner’s manuals, keys, etc are also included with sale. 4. This Cobra is in SHOW QUALITY condition as all the photos listed below indicate. ALL the fluids have recently been changed by a Ford Dealership. These fluids even include the Supercharger fluid which should be done every 36,000 miles. 5. The exterior color red looks beautiful and is complimented with a black interior with red inserts in the seats. This was a 10th Anniversary Edition package. 6. As I mentioned above its equipped with 4.6 DOHC V8 that has a factory Eaton Roots Supercharger! This is one of the best engines Ford ever built. It’s coupled with a T-56 six speed transmission. It also has an aluminum drive shaft. 7. It’s equipped with Rack and Pinion power assisted steering that is very tight. The steering wheel is also great to hold on to. 8. It’s equipped with independent suspension which consists of Bilstein monotone dampers for a great ride. 9. The Brembo front disc brakes provide excellent stopping power. 10. Power Wilwood disc brakes are at all four corners for quick stopping. 7. This Mustang has recently had some expensive modifications done that make it even more amazing drive. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN RACED!!!!!!!! Keep in the mind it was only driven about 250 miles this year since the modifications were done. All the original parts other then wheels are include with sale of car. Here’s a list of the modifications: Steeda Air Intake Steeda Short Shifter with silver shift knob Reiker 2.8 blower pulley Fluidyne heat exchanger Magaflow 3” exhaust system SCT X3 flash tuner NGK TR-6 copper plugs 180 degree thermostat New Gates belt Hypercoated GT 4 wheels (18 x 9 in the front with 265/35/18 tires and 18 x 10 in the rear with 285/35/18 tires) Introduction: Hello, I'm Marc Schiliro from www.msclassiccarsllc.com. You might recognize my name or website from other magnificent classic cars I've listed for sale nationally. I've been playing with classic cars as a hobby for over ten years now. I didn't expect things would grow into what they have so late last year I became an official Limited Liability Company. My official business name is MS CLASSIC CARS, LLC. Most of the cars I sell now are through Barrett Jackson. There's four Barrett Jackson actions a year so I keep very busy consigning anywhere from one to eight cars per auction. I've been very fortunate to have sold some cars in the top 25 highest sales priced vehicles. Over the years I've also featured classic cars at the Carlisle Expo and Atlantic City Auto Auctions. I've also had classic cars featured in many magazines and on multiple websites. I specialize in extremely detailed classic cars. I buy cars that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and also coordinate complete restorations from start to finish. Sometimes I get lucky and get a car that I do nothing to it. I strongly feel that my cars have the "POP" factor. I love what I do and I'm extremely passionate about it! I have a VIP EMAIL BLAST list that gets sent via email to thousands of people anytime I get a new addition. If you'd like to be added to that list please visit my contact page on my website. The power of networking is amazing! The Market: As I've mentioned above I've been playing with classic cars for over ten years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds it's own. I've sold classic cars in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated," Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions. At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "They had a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. This kind of changes the supply and demand theory. Unique cars that have been customized are on the rise. My 1957 Ford Fairlane I consigned to Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 would be a perfect example of that. Classic pickup trucks are also on the rise. I'm proud to announce I just purchased my first classic pickup truck and I'm sure it won't be my last! Besides everything I've mentioned, there's nothing better than getting in your classic car and going for a spin. Classic cars aren't just good investments but there fun to own! You only live once, GO GET YOURS TODAY! Description: Information directly from Ford about the 2003 Mustang Cobra: Beginning with the original in 1993, every generation of the SVT Mustang Cobra has elevated its standard of performance. The 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra raises the bar yet again, this time increasing power output to a level never before achieved in a production Mustang. The addition of a Roots-type supercharger and water-to-air intercooler to the Cobra's 4.6-liter, DOHC 4-valve V-8 engine bumps output to 390 horsepower with 390 foot-pounds of torque. Additional enhancements for 2003 include exterior design alterations to the front and rear fascia, hood, rocker moldings and side scoops, as well as several changes to the interior appointments, including new multi-adjustable front seats trimmed in Nudo leather and preferred suede. The 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra's 4.6-liter, DOHC V-8 is equipped with an Eaton supercharger and new aluminum alloy cylinder heads that provide increased flow capabilities. The aluminum alloy 4-valve heads are new to the Cobra. They were chosen because they also provide greater flow capabilities, and help give increased low-end torque without sacrificing peak horsepower. The Eaton Roots-type supercharger is the same model used on the SVT F-150 Lightning, with a cast aluminum case, machined aluminum internal rotors, and its own dedicated drive belt. The supercharger compresses intake air to a pressure of 7.5 to 8.0 pounds per square inch, and under the supercharger the compressed air passes through a water-to-air intercooler. This removes heat gained during compression to make a denser, more powerful compressed air charge. To provide strength necessary for the substantially increased torque output, the new Cobra engine is built on a cast-iron block. This unit contains the carryover forged-steel crankshaft, which is fitted with new Manley forged H-beam connecting rods, forged pistons similar to those in the SVT F-150 Lightning, and an aluminum flywheel similar to the 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R's. The engine is mated to a TTC T-56 6-speed manual transmission. Behind that, an aluminum drive shaft with upgraded universal joints connects to the rear axle, which has a 3.55:1 gear ratio. The Cobra's independent suspension system receives additional bracing necessary for increased loading due to the higher power output and larger tires. Changes include revised bushing, mount and spring rates. A new tubular cross-brace has been added, which attaches to the differential and is designed to stabilize the differential assembly under hard acceleration. Revised rear suspension geometry helps improve roll steer. Exterior design changes distinguish the SVT Mustang Cobra from the regular production Mustang GT. The hood has been redesigned, and now has flow-through scoops that help vent hot air from the engine compartment. Both the hood and rear deck are made of lightweight composite materials. Additional SVT Mustang Cobra standard features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel; leather boots for the shift and parking brake levers; tilt steering wheel; power windows, mirrors, door locks and trunk release; the SecuriLock passive anti-theft system; remote keyless entry; speed control; and a MACH 460 audio system with AM/FM stereo and an in-dash, six-disc CD player. 2003 Cobra Mustang Specs Production Numbers: Cobra Coupe: 8,394 Cobra Convertible: 5,082 Available Engine: 4.6L DOHC V-8 390 hp Type 90° V8; cast iron block, aluminum heads, Eaton Gen.
