Listing and selling for a friend: 1955 Chevrolet Belair 2 Door Hardtop. A project that was started 30 years ago that never got finished. The car has been in a home garage for those 3 decades. The body is dry and rust free. Some body work has been done and some jamb work also (you can see from the pix that he was going to paint it white) but there is body work left to be done. He doesn't have front or rear bumpers but has all the Belair mouldings and trim. Has the rear seat but not an original front bench seat and you will need interior trim panels. Obviously the winning bidder will be making this gem his or her own with color and trim choices. Has a complete drivetrain: The motor is a bored .60 over 327 cu in V8; The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed; the rear differential is a 57 Pontiac with .557 ratio. Comes with a new windshield and all the other glass is good with the exception of the 1 of the moveable door glass.
