Vehicle Detail

1968 Mustang Fastback – not a GT 302 V8, auto, P/S, PDB, hood turn signal, fold down rear seat, upper and lower consoles. Professionally rebuilt Ford 4100 spreadbore carburetor from Pony carbs (see website). 1968 intake and air cleaner have snorkel not installed, but will be included. Pertroniz elec. Ignition all under cap. Hipo cast iron exhaust manifolds -- new exhaust system with correct S/S double tips. New complete power steering set up from “Chockostang” with new idler and pitman arms (refer to website). New complete front end –“Moog” upper and lower ball joints, poly bushings, monroe shocks and old-school wheel alignment from Virginia Mustang (see website) Paint is not concours but very presentable. Original bumpers have minor pitting. Tinted glass has (minor scratches). Rear window car light, windshield is not car light. Original “Fomoco” signals and lenses. Clock does not work. However, quartz replacement will be included. AM//FM radio is not hooked up. Rear panel has speakers in place. I had planned to replace the panel but never got around to it. Very solid San Jose car original color diamond blue repainted in the 1980s and again around 2004 according to the previous owner. Solid frame in rails, etc. I've owned it for four years. It runs perfect , frame is solid, the passenger rear floor could use a few rivets but fine for a driver. Interior – New dashpad, 1967 deluxe dash (not correct) but preferred over plastic wood grain. Driver seat bolster has a crack. Headliner has small tear but it is next to impossible to notice (I had the car six months before I found it). Carpets are old but okay for a driver. Drives straight and true. Largely stock, sorry no chrome or restomod I've put a lot into this car, but I've enjoyed it. Low-fair reserve based on comparable models. Inspections are welcome.
