Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevelle set up for street strip. Very,Very solid car. Body was removed. Frame blasted, painted and assembled with all new urathane body mounts and suspension bushings. Frame is solid with no cracks or pitting. All NEW ball joints/tie rods, etc. Rear ladder bar set up welded to frame and cage. Coil-over rear suspension. Full cage welded right to frame and over ladder bar points. Nice welds throughout ( rear seat still works with cage) Ford 9" heavy duty housing with brand new center section from Strange.Have recieps (brand new-detroit locker/ 4:11 gears/S/T35 spline axles/1350 yoke/iron daytona pinion support) all set up by Strange engineering. Wilwood rear dics brakes with stainless hoses. Front factory single piston disc brakes. New 2 inch lower springs for front. New Weld rims and MT/Housier street slick tires, bead locked with screws and tubes in the rear. Reinforced body at firewall and behind rear seat. Foam filled fuel cell with sending unit for guage. New strange 3" drive shaft and heavy duty u-joints. Set up for th400. Th400 with full manual valve body and many internal mods for strength. J.W. bellhousing. Car was set up for stroker small block chevy and comes with new Stahl 1 7/8 headers and full custom 3" exhaust through Flowmaster mufflers. Body is all original sheet metal except one small repair panel was welded in on pass side lower rear quarter panel. New weatherstrip and custom dash panel for guages. Body work was lazer straight (and still is) but the car has been in storage for the last 5 years or so and it has a big scratch on the driver side door (see pic) and a few small dings here and there. Clean title. This car was very close to being finished at one time. Unfortantaly, a raccoon got inside it and ate most of the interior. The car hasn't been on the road in years. Needs finishing. Overall a VERY solid base to build one nasty street strip car from. The trans has never been tested. The car is dirty from sitting so long. Buy it now price will include 2 fiberglass hoods and inner fenders, nice black door panels and a lot of other parts to make it more complete. (new chome and trim, new aluminum radiator with rust free core support, fiberglass trunk lid, wiring harnesses, and lots more. If it doesn't reach buy it now than what you see in the pics is what you get. This is a great car for a bracket racer or a mean street car. Ask any questions before you bid. Can deliver up to 300 miles for a fee. Good luck bidding! On Jun-15-11 at 19:21:09 PDT, seller added the following information: This car was a project of mine that I'll never get to finishing. To be more specific-the buy it now will include; rear seat (newly covered but has been in storage) 2 racing bucket seats that bolt to the custom brackets, new front and rear bezels, new ss badges, new racing ajustable front shocks, new trim for back of car, stock dash harness,2 fiberglass hoods (one pin on and one hinged with good hindges and the right springs for the hood, 2 trunk lids(one fiberglass and one steel, door panels, a second high stall torque converter, fiberglass bumpers and chrome bumpers, heater box, another stock dash, and even more stuff. Most of it just needs to be cleaned up real good and put back in the car. Some parts of the cage were never painted. (see pics) There's a place in the trunk that was removed when the cage was installed. A small area that can be welded back in easily. The paint on the car has scratches on it. Only one big one but I want to be honest about it. I have no reason to beleive the trans wouldn't work, but because it was never ran and it's been sitting ever since it's been built I want the buyer to know. I don't see why anyone wouldn't be happy with the car. I'm just trying to be honest and describe it well.
