1970 Plymouth 'Cuda Hot Rod I bought this car at an auction a while ago, and have enjoyed driving it a few times. It's time to sell it and play with something else, so it's your chance to enjoy this 'Cuda Hot Rod. First, it's a REAL 'Cuda! Not a Barracuda that's been badged as a 'Cuda. It's fun to drive and highly reliable, I haven't had any problems with the car. The 440 engine was rebuilt several years ago, but it hasn't seen many miles since then. It has a 625 Demon carb, Mopar Performance M1 intake manifold, Purple Shaft Cam & Lifter Kit with .509"/.509" lift, Mopar Performance oil pan, electric fuel pump and headers with dual exhaust. The big block power is mated to a 727 automatic transmission with a B&M competition shifter kit. The 8 3/4" rear has the 489 case with the larger pinion gear and 3.91:1 ratio. The rear tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman High Performance street legal tires. The wheels are polished aluminum Weld Racing wheels. I haven't raced the car, but there are a couple time tickets from the previous owner showing 1/4 mile runs in the low 13's. The interior is in overall good condition. Seat covers, carpet and dash are in good condition. The gauges work and the interior light works. The door panels have been painted and some of the interior trim needs to be painted (see photos). The headliner is thick fabric, and a few tears are covered with black tape (see photos). The trunk floor was replaced with flat panel, and seems to have been done well (see photos). The front driver side frame rail had some rust and was capped (see photos). The floors are original and in good shape. The car has custom frame strengtheners (see photos). The bumpers are fiberglass to save weight. A sunroof was installed at some point early in the cars life. Here's the info from the fender tag.
