Vehicle Detail

I have a couple of 10MB files in pdf form that show a bunch of close ups for the truly interested. Send me an email! My personal car since 1986! I am the second owner! Notice the new front calipers on the pictures. Also, a bit of history, in 1987 I had the car totally stripped and re-painted. We found rust in the driver door and it was fixed and does not appear to have returned in 24 years! A few spots of rust returned a couple of years after I had it painted in 1987 and they never grew. Recently I had those fixed, so the car is virtually rust free. I have the original carbs, some older parts that were removed, a complete gasket set and belts, an extra original rim (when I bought the car it did not have original rims and I bought about 12 rims to get the 4 that are on it! Feel free to ask questionsl. 1977 Lancia Scorpion This is the real deal! My personal car since 1986. Two owner, Original 1977 Lancia Scorpion with only 36,500 ORIGINAL miles. Most likely one of the finest original examples. Not perfect, but for a Scorpion, this is a nice car. I had the car repainted in 1987. They did an OK job. I just had it touched up on rear quarter and around windshield and had the whole car polished. It looks pretty nice!. There are some imperfections in the clear coat and some color variations, but you can see it looks nice. On the Engine, the original owner put on the current exhaust. I upgraded the carbs to European specs and the hotter cams were added, also Euro specs, in 1995. This car now has about 20 or more HP than std. I did not put on the Euro pistons. All else is orginal. I had the fuel lines replaced a couple years ago and new front calipers also. The interior is nice, except the driver seat started to separate a bit and there is a small spot on the rear dash where an animal took a chunk out (nothing major). Interior is all original. The electric windows are starting to sputter. The last time this happened, I had to open door trim and re-adjust. I also had all the shift linkage connections replaced two years ago. The rear plastic under the bumper was repaired by me after it broke 15 yrs ago. The convertible bands are near their life end, but new ones are available on the net. I am now a dealer in Florida under Florida Cool Cars www.flcoolcars.com. I am selling this as a dealer. Trades might be considered. Call 800-488-6600 or text to 419-356-3500. I have some spares and original parts, also. A few months ago, there was a real nice 1976 Scorpion on Ebay and it did not meet reserve at $12,000! It had higher miles, but a nice restoration. Compare mine and price! This would make a great show car for that perfect person. One more note, this car has ALWAYS been stored indoors its whole life! There is an A/C compressor, but has not been used in many years.
